Sorry to hear its been a bad end to the week, Bob - isn't it weird the way those arguments spiral out of nothing? How are the two of you this morning?

I tried to get to a Woolies over the weekend, to see what could be had, but I was up in London, couldn't find one on the route I was taking.

Well i am ashamed to admit that we didn't speak this morning:o I am very sarky and have a habit of not budging my ground..also think that after 25 years together we are both very adept at pressing wind up buttons! He has never mastered the art of leaving me alone, so i think that winds me up further:o We live and we learn..is a new phase in our lives really as children are growing up and we now have the added pressures of not being alone together so i reckon things escalate from that! So we need to make efforts to share more time together and to allow ourselves to be a tad selfish and not put everyone else before us ( sometimes it is a very hard habit to get out of)

Have now sharpened elbows and am girding loins to get out there into the bargainous woolworths.:D

Good to see you have reconsidered that there diary! wouldnt be the same without you - while never actually meeting some pepys I do consider some of my dfw's as friends so I for one would miss you...
sorry you and oh argued - nothing worse but possibly just both try to see it as a shift in your relationship as the children move on? A turning tide if you will...Lol re woolies - I told the godchildren (not thinking that they were listening!) that woolies went belly up and the youngest (5) was most upset that they were closing.... was worried that they wouldnt have the pressie she wanted elsewhere lol!! I was just upset cos its an institution innit!

yeah - glad you are keeping your diary! How did you get on at woollies? Rather you than me - I hate shopping with a vengeance!
Am sure things will sort out with Mr B. - sometimes have those kind of arguments with OH - awful at the time but usually just mean we need to rethink something or regroup a bit - and things are invariably better afterwards as a result.

Well he came home tonight in grovelly mode, so that is that..no pressie though..must be losing my charms:cool: :rotfl: He did ask me what i wanted for Christmas, would i like Dawn French's autobiography?..er nope, as i haven't managed to find one called Dear Baldy, with a big nose That is in case he thought he was getting a sneaky dig at my weight...:rotfl:

I am a cynical so and so..lol

DD just has a virus again..so rest and paracetamol..poor thing.

aww hugs for dd...lol re oh - he knows how to make you feel great doesent he eh!! If thats what he's like in groven mode I dread to think what his chat up lines are like lol!!
