True, she knows when to take part and also how to motivate the younger guides..It takes a lot to keep them motivated too, as it is not trendy to be in the guides..

I think we are sneakily trying to tame her..lol.
Well what can i whitter on about today?
Not a lot gone on as such except daring trips out in the car on what can only be described as a ski slope! Our back road..we live on a hill..
Have been cooking up a lot of batch meals as stuff had to be used in the fridge..so one large pot of stew, a cottage pie, a meat and potato pie (mince if you hadn't guessed) Mince pies, apple sponge and a large almond slice..Large flan one...mmmm. Probably costs around £4 for the lot..so was quite a bargain bake..we are set for meals until the end of the week now..
Am just off for a peak as not been on here all day..what was i thinking? lolBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Thanks Taxi, i will be careful.
Well i have come to a bit of a decision to no longer keep up my diary. I have to prioritise my work and course and find that i am spending far too long on here at times and getting lulled into MSE way of life! I do find it enjoyable and addictive but i am getting further into my course and it is important not to let it go..so Turnip obsessed ramblings are at an end.Thankyou everyone who has taken the time to post and keep my spirits up..tis a special place this forum.
I will still keep an eye on everyone else though..and still take part in challenges etc.
Wishing you all the very best as ever have a good one. BOBXXBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Oh Bob! That comes as a surprise to me, but sitting back and thinking a mo, yes, I can understand that. I think of myself as not getting sucked in to the social stuff quite so much, tho thats mostly cos I'm rubbish at the quickwitted banter stuff.... I actually spend loads and loads of time on here hunting single posts on people's diaries, instead of *doing* stuff.
I still need to come on here - as a single person working from home, debtbusting without this place would be nigh-on impossible - but I should be limiting my time. I'll take a leaf from your book.
Well, Bob, I wish you well. I know you'll still be on here, but you're putting your diary to bed, so its a sort of goodbye. :hello: _pale_
And ... see you later, on other threads ....2023: the year I get to buy a car0
