Sneaks in pulls off american tan tights and sandals..checks all white hairs are covered...phew:rotfl: :rotfl:
Isom, yes it was DD with diabetes, and she needed a biccie afterwards..i didn't have the heart to say test your blood sugar level as well...plus she had a drink of glucose. She must have needed it because her bloods were in the normal range at dinner.
Tesco vouchers still haven't come:eek:
Today will be spent juggling stuff around..oh i nearly forgot Mr. B has got a nice bonus this month and he is getting rid of his expensive car..:T I made him realise that it has cost over £7000 a year to run, which includes payments, insurance, petrol etc..in all honesty it was probably nearer to £8,000:o a salutory lesson for anyone wanting car loans:cool: Anyway he has paid well over half off and is able to give it back under terms and conditions..In some respects i wish he hadn't been so much of an ostrich over it..but when he asked for a redemption figure they wanted over £5,500 back..i think that's when he realised. Certainly will never be what the car is worth..and the cheeky things offered to refinance for him as he never missed a payment..must be one of the only things he hasn't:cool: So that will reduce his debt significantly and he may even be able to clear everything off this next year...:T
It's going to take some reworking of stuff, but he should be able to take the train most days and my car on a saturday or if he is working late..as mine only has just under £3,000 redemption figure(0% finance) I am going target that for April and hopefully the small balances i have on 0% for the month after..i am looking at ball park stuff but reckon also that he can be clear by December of next year and we have a loan with the bank which is going to be the year after..but if they give us a good redemption figure on that maybe sooner.( this is joint to clear previous Mr.B stuff off:o ) I am so wary of going down the consolidation route again..
Hope everyone has a good one.

cars are a pain in thearse bob! the most trouble free one i've ever had is the Camper.
Ditched my pricey Espace for a £300 metro ( Rover ), £90 insurance and 50mpg. just need to get OH to part fromher PT Cruiser 22mpbloodyg!! and it'll be great.
Hope DD is OK. Going for a nice long walk to decide whether its going to be Kilimanjaro or cclimbing 2 13,000 peaks in the Atlas mountains ( ice axes and crampons ) for Charity next year. was def going to be Kili but the Atlas are only a third of the cost( and less Americans:p ) so more goes to the Charity.:D stay wonky

I used to have a metro, loved that car i did:D i know what you mean about petrol costs, it was costing him a bloomin fortune over £300 a month at height of petrol stuff and i would have justified it if it was the family car, but in all honesty it was for work stuff( again necessary ) but when you add up all the extras..totally not worth it.:o
Sounds like you are going to be busy deciding. Good luck on the walking is persisting it down here again.:rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

When we were younger, that was my brother's idea of Christmas pressies. He would go to the shop and buy 6 pairs of tights and 6 bars of choccy, tights for the ladies ( american tan) and chocs for the lads..:rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Yeah , I think I've made my mind up. Kili is £1800, Jebel Toukbel is £679 for the lot....flights, guides, 4wd, ice equipment, 6 day accom and all meals and 2 days free in Marrakech. Raising £2000 is piece of p*ss for any body.
Not using Fund Raising firm so just have to show proper accounts for legit expenses.......anyone else fancy a walk next November?:D stay wonky
