  • Cheers taxi.
I have just been in pondering mode, like you do, and was reading ehallets thread, just googled self sabotaging behaviours and came up with this.

    http://www.iloveulove.com/psychology/selfsabotage.htm

Hmm now it is definately food for thought and maybe i have been exhibiting quite a few of these as well if i am honest..so will have to incorporate a lot more positive thinking in my everyday life.

Going to start by printing this out and bunging it on the fridge..must motivate Mr.B as well.

I have quite a few motivational books as well, so will have to guard against negative thinking..and require copius boots up backside if you hear/ read it.All part of new Cunning plan..BOB'S Boot army.

Just added this as well, it is part of my course, so you think i would be tuned into it by now..Doh!

  • They certainly make me think Ellidee, i know i have a bad habit of focussing on other stuff when something is going wrong, then i self justify..not all right i know but certainly something to watch out for.

Nice bit of naval contemplating..oh if no-one has anything to do and wants to improve skills for free..well this is a nice frustrating little site for you.

Not read those yet but will look later as it won't do me any harm to read them..lol...as I'm forever avoiding things...lol
  • I am avoiding things today as well Taxi, i think i will adopt your name as it has been my job today, to ferry/ run around after family..

I am not feeling 100% myself today, just naffed off with stuff i think it is qype withdrawel symptoms:D :rotfl:

Also got a letter from my 0% card today, saying they had charged me £12 for late payment..i thought what on earth were they on about as there were two payments on the account for last month ( i overpay) and they were at least five days before due date..any how woman was very nice, and it turns out that
    1. the 0 % had ended:eek: why didn't i check:confused: (asda card)
2.that she had undercharged me by 3p because she had looked at the wrong screenshot..
3.charges were all given back :T but now i will have to pay off quicker as 0% had ended:o I thought this was the same as my other card(both got at the same time) but was for 6 months:doh:
    4. i need new glasses to look at paperwork properly..it is only a small balance, but i will not be paying interest if i can help it..

    I feel such an idiot:mad:

SO no debt busting today and my MSing was supposed to be paid on the 15th and when i logged on they are paying at the end of the month now..so they can naff off as well..

So calm breaths and less procrastination going on:D If i smile enough i might just believe it.:rotfl:

edit to say i am a futher idiot as have looked at T&C'S and it was only ltd time for spending which was 0% and forgot i had spent on it during hols..thought i had paid that off, but it went off 0% balance..still i got my charges back..dumb bob....

Hi Bob...sounds like you've had a rough old daylike me.
Don't knock anything as it's hard sometimes to keep track of when these 0% cards run out.Have you applied for another one to replace it with?
If you've had a crappy day tomorrow can only get better or at least that's what I'm telling myself...lol
  • wont it be fab the day we dont have to juggle....bound to drop one of the balls occasionaly so dont be too hard on yourself...have just applied to a capital one long life of balance but they are pondering whether to give me a card!! Hope today is better for you - did sign up for qtype but not done any yet and suspect I may be too late now?

Totally agree - I've lost count of the things I've done that have made me less profit than they should because I didn't write something down in my diary to be checked or cancelled or something. We can't do it all, even if we try, but we can do *such* a lot!

Bob, I just clicked on the self sabotage link you put up - *very* interesting, and quite valuable too, because it gives you the opposite, the work to do, which can lead to all sorts of things. Thanks! :T

    Hi bob,

Not been around much recently due to work, 15 hours again today.
Most threads can just be picked up on....yours! Its a different language:think:
    Anyhoo, hope you are ok.
Been having a successful week against 'authority'. Got DD out of her mouldy rented house a month early...threatened to get Housing Officer involved. Got charges refunded on DSs first ever Finance agreement, they mucked up DD payment.....wrote to MD of Co, and finally beat 1st Credit , they now have agreed to my CCCS payment....took 4 months, now will try to get it written off. Oh, and Barclaycard in dispute so they can stick their interest too......on a roll now, anyone you want sorted out/thumped:D
    :D:D stay wonky :D:D

....one-way ticket to Portugal booked !
