Sorted the usual out today, have online banked,stripped the bed and am going to be hoovering and ironing in a bit.

Mr.B was dropped off at hospital early doors and have no idea what time his operation is. He was a bit worried, and didn't say a word all the way there. Hopefully he will be reassured afterwards.

Funny really how women have a lot to put up with and have to get on with stuff, no disrespect to chaps but the minute he had a bit of a problem he went into duck mode. He had to be nagged to have a GP appt, i had to buy all the things to make him more comfortable, he would screech at the kids if they so much as mentioned anything.

Never spoke to his consultant was discharged on tablets which did no good at all, was nagged to get another appt and this is the result.It has been a nightmare the past three years i felt like i have had another kid in the house to take care of...so any chaps reading..if you have bladder/flow problems, get down to your GP, get checked out..if things are still not good..go and nag until you get the treatment you need!!!

Had to laugh at the bits confusion on the last page, I was confused too....

Great idea on the DoE stuff - I was in an experimental group at school that did it, I remember Phil the Greek actually descending by helicopter on one group I was working with when I was doing silver. Ended up with gold, and going to the palace to get it too - you can only take one parent, but it was a very nice day out. When I get out from under a little bit more, that might be a real idea for me too.

Update on Mr.B. He has had his operation and i have to say he looks heaps better. They have him on fluids to flush out his bladder and they have ( i think) partially re sected his prostate:eek:
He is not moaning or anything and has already eaten and is happily ensconsed with daytime telly and very comfortable. I have to admit to being a tad jealous as i puke for England off anaesthetic:o So he is going great guns.
So hopefully more news tonight..the only downside is that the nurses were saying he is doing so well that he may well be home tomorrow..not a downside for Mr.B, just me having bed to myself:cool: Oh well at least his mind will be at rest as well as his bladder..just think he is grateful his tackle is all in place.:rotfl:

Hello Bob, I dont like this new Diary thingy I have to go looking really hard!

Thanks for putting up advice about getting things checked if they dont seem right ( see, I do read the posts:D ). I make sure 'everything' is checked on a regular basis! If nothing else, I have Critical Illness Cover.......if I've got summat wrong I want to know about it while I've got time to spend the money!!!!

Evening all, well late night anyways.
It feels like an age since i had a minute to myself. Mr.B came home tonight all seems well and he is indeed a good patient Ellidee, i think copious grub and numerous phone calls all help.

Unfortunately my brothers have all been on the phone with variation on the themes of knob jokes..they have a worse sense of humour than me. One started with the Hitler tune and it disintigrated as the night went on...

So two nights of comfy bed to myself. But it is a relief to see him so well( must be going soft in my old age)
Debt busting wise, all ticking along may have to make a few adjustments next month as work has been dire, but have monies in account to cover bills at least. Hope everyone is ok. Glad to see you take note Pepe..was even on This Morning today about awareness for chaps.
