I shall have to start thinking about walking to work again, now that the weather has improved......but can't walk when I have to go to the gym/somewhere to go straight after work/the banking for work needs to be done/the slightest drop of rain falls.......so I suspect it'll just be thinking about walking to work for a little while longer :o

Good for you Taxi. Anywhere nice?

It was around lawsons field area...it looks a bit like countryside and loads of people walk their dogs there.
  • It's like tumbleweed time on here...relegated to another sub board and everything comes to a halt.

Have paid off another £200 and have probably left myself skint for the rest of the month, but at least it is skint for a reason. Not updating yet as still playing a bit of catchup from last month and some stuff has added interest. Was gong to apply for another 0% card, will have a think about it.

Next door neighbour gave me two bottles of wine for looking after his house and cats for him. The good news is that as Mr.B is going in for his operation on Monday he is abstaining...well he did naff all re neighbours house so i don't think he should have any.

I am also up late because of incessant snoring tonight, gawd help them on that ward..but three nights of bliss for me.

Am looking forward to having the day with children tomorrow/today and having a nice roast beef tea.

    Hope you have a good one.BOB x

Sorry the night was sleepless for you again... I had a weird night myself - fell asleep in front of the tv just after 10pm, and of course couldn't sleep when I did get to bed, so got up just after midnight, and then didn't go to bed till 2am. Sigh ..... feel okay this morning, but thank heavens for coffee.

Hope you have a lovely Mother's Day!

  • Cheers guys. Have to say it has been a nice morning. I have been spoiled by the children and i didn't expect it, as they are all getting older and i said to save their money. So lovely cards, choccies, breakfast and washing up done and one of those teapot/cups for one..did i mention i am a tea addict?

Shaun i love that teddy bear.:D

Isom, i snore too..but hopefully not like him..lol.:o

Hey KC hope you enjoy your day.

Am chuffed too as i have had a wonderful email off an old friend, cheered me up no end and we are meeting in the not too distant future.:D

I have also been thinking about stuff for a little me time. Hmm, i am not one for indulgent pastimes, as i don't have the patience for massages or anything..so i am volunteering for training for Duke of Edinburgh scheme so some of the older guides/rangers Queens guides and whatnot can be sorted out on the start of it all. Plus i will be able to go to weekend centres for free and indulge in outdoor pursuits..not the smutty kind:cool: but camping, walking, archery etc.I can't wait..am so excited about it all.:j

I may just need a massage after all that though;)

What a nice positive post and good luck for Mr Bobgoing in hospital and hope that you get 3 good nights sleep.
The DOE award sounds like a fantastic idea and very MSE.
Nice to see you are having a good day.

Thanks for that Taxi. He is a tad nervous with it being his man bits, but it will be good for him as he may sleep better after the operation, if that makes sense. I know it sounds daft, but i am just looking forward to sitting in bed with a book all to myself, clean sheets dusted and hoovered..bliss:o

I am totally looking forward to the DOE stuff. I enjoyed doing part of it in my youth ( i have the bronze) and it wouldn't have been possible without volunteers. Everyone who wants to should be able to do so, and i like giving something back to the community, everyone should work with teenagers sometimes as it shows what a great lot they are.:D Minus the odd one or two:rolleyes:

    I see....the bit about you makes sense...lol
But the bit about his bits helping him sleep doesn't make sense to me but I'll trust you on that one...lol
