Only realised today that I've got four days hols to use by the end of Dec ( you will be in that situation next year bob, I'm sure of it ) so, as OH is still 'farm sitting' with 18 miniature donkeys..yes, they are that cute espec the foals, or donklets or whatever they are...so I,m going to the Malvern Hills Thurs and Fri to do some walking. Sleeping in car should save money.

As a teacher i get plenty of hols..but a tad too many at the moment:o what a great job farm sitting..if that was me though i would be permanently moving in:D
Malvern hills, haven't been there for years, i think the last time was on geology field trip in my yoof.
Do you not go in the hostels? they aren't too bad.

Was in the Malverns in August but stayed in my lovely 1972 low and loud VW Camper....trouble is, withe the engine I've got in her ( shes called Vera ) she drinks about 18mpg...do I blow a hole in the food budget and take her???

Sorry dd has been poorly and hope she is feeling better soon...nasty thing diabetes...well done on teh amazon book - all adds up. Sorry to hear that you have to putup with footy - would REALLY have to love someone to put up with that...I loathe footie!
pepe take the van you lucky ole thing having a vw camper...lifes too short - just live on weezl's budget for a bit and shop in lidl to make up for it...lifes too short! mind you a free farmhouse not to be sniffed at either eh! not sure about the manure - minature or not - sure blackadder would have sommat to say about that!

I would go misty eyed at the vw camper...would sell my granny for one of those:o I think i am just totally jealous now..sniff. But still hope you have a good time.:D

On the sniffles front is now a full blown cold and have a headache and joint ache as well..so nowt much getting done around here..but DS is cooking and looking after his poor old mum and sister...:D :A


My course has now chucked another 2,500 worder at me..so am feeling pretty miffed, but it does mean i don't have to put in a full 5000 word essay at the end of the module so not all bad.:o

That is about it really very boring old bob today...

Hope you are all well, just off to have a mooch on diaries.

I don't put up with the footy, i loathe it as much as you and sky is in my name and i cancelled his footy when he overspent. His mate has just been ripped off with overexpensive account with virgin:rotfl: after getting rid of sky (idiot) AND THEY NOW HUDDLE OVER THERE:j :T He did once try to bring all his mates over (the Chelsea n*b head fan) one Wednesday and tried to complain when i was watching a dvd on telly as they wanted to watch the match. I told them to *f* off to the pub:o I don't often swear,but i think you can tell i hate him a....lot. Anyway enough about them..:rotfl: :rotfl:

Sorry to upset you about the camper bob, she ( vera ) has been with me for 6 years and she is NOT on my assets list for my dmp!!!! Turns heads wherever she goes. People say 'who's that handsome hunka burning lerve driving that camper' and 'whats that bleedin' noise':rotfl:

:rotfl: :rotfl: I'd tell them to a bit more....He never runs around after anyone if they are ill..on the other hand if he is ill, he takes to bed for the day...i used to take things upto him, but i found that prolonged his stay in bed:cool:

Lowered by several inches, lovely gold alloy wheels ( 9" tyres ), gorgeous paint with 15 coats of diff colours and laquer ( looks metallic burgundy in dull weather, but bursts into sexy orange in sunshine ), BIG sound, Big chromey engine the list goes on...now how did I run up a CC debt:rolleyes: .

She was a wedding car for freinds a month ago, and I got another booking £150 while I was there, result.

Next trip out is the Halloween bash with other VW nuts at Henley next weekend...got to dress the van up, need some ideas.
