Hi Bob, I leave you alone for 24 hours and all this happens!
Have you done MUCH supply work with this ( new? ) Agency?
Perhaps what you need is a few 'incident-free' days at work to calm the brains down?
I the worlds worst for expecting things to go wrong when there is really no other reason apart from tiredness/worrying about stuff ( usually things over which I have no control anyway )....and then nothing goes wrong for a few days and head returns to normal (ish!)
I'm beginning to get a handle on it now...hence new siggy.

Good day today, DS had an auction of old/damaged stock at his work ( garden Centre, Wyvale ). Picked up £190 worth of semi-circular hall table, covered in bevelled mirror panels for £12, just needed some shorter bolts and BINGO, good as new. Mrs P orgasmic!....see, its furniture thats needed NOT Anne Summers:rotfl:
    :D:D stay wonky :D:D

....one-way ticket to Portugal booked !

Sorry to hear you are feeling "panicky".You've got so much on your plate at the moment and probably a mix of a few things.
There is a bloodtest at the Drs for the peri menopause as I had them done a few times before the hysterectomy....couldbe a thyroid problem or anaemia or a mixture of any number of things so I think going to the Drs is the best thing all round.

I normally do think like that Pepe, as in if stuff is beyond my control then it happens..I just couldn't understand why:confused: Although i have had a few deja vu kind of experiences in the classroom..weird really. Maybe it is my subconcious poking me:rotfl:

Lucky Mrs.P i love Wyvale furniture...any dropping off the back of a lorry soon? Bob dashes out to measure for solid teak circular table, chairs and matching parasol:rotfl: :j

I am with four supply agencies..hmmm, maybe it was because this one paid the lower rate..:rotfl: :rotfl:

I will be going Monday morning and hope it isn't anything really that a good holiday couldn't fix.:D

It's daft ...I do more worrying than ever since being on here and I guess loads of others do to.This recession isn't helping anyones peace of mind either...ie..I have all these plans and I hate failure but I could fail just because of the recession IYSWIM...I think I'm a control freak and this is something I cannot control and that makes me panicky...being honest with you I've felt panicky a few times over the last two to three months but have decided not to worry any longer as if I can't control it then so be it..worrying won't change a thing.I believe fate maps the course.
Hope you understand what I mean as that turned into a bit of a waffle...sorry xxx

I agree with you actually, yep it does make sense and i too am worried about failure as i need to work and don't want to put myself out of the arena as it were. The thing is i find myself thinking ..'is it worth it?' etc and that is a dangerous mindset to be in. I remember you feeling panicky as well..i will get over it as i am very much a 'control freak' which is probably why i do the job:rotfl:

All this uncertainty, changes, bad news doesn't do anyones mindset any good.
    Right lets be positive....
You will always have a job as your profession needs people
Noone can sack me as I'm S/E

have you thought about applying for a permanent position?....either p/t or f/t?...maybe that will relieve some of the not knowing and you will know what's coming in and what it costs for you to get there and whether it'sworth it.
