I would like to attend your meeting and compare notes. We have issues with contracts not being legal and would like to compare with buyers from your developements.Has anyone from Pearl or Corneila got these same problems.
It is a six page contract thats states the english version takes presidence and as far as I know were sent to buyers who bought around Oct/Nov06.
    Regards Mark08

My contract seems to be the same, 6 pages and signed in Oct 06. However, Anna declares this is not the contract in which she's approved and is worthless. Mine has only been signed by an Ambasun representative and not a director, the developer hasn't signed it and the bulgarian side has completely different info on it regarding the developers details to the English part. I have in my possesion a new contract from Desi, this is the approved one, 12 pages long, yet she refuses to put into the contract the funds I have already sent to Ambasun. I will wait for the outcome of the court case and based on advise from solicitors go from there.
  • Yes, I agree that the same safeguards as the UK do not exist when buying in some countries overseas.

Been reading this thread with some interest, and believe I will probably be flamed for the following question.
I cannot understand why anybody would pay money upfront for an unbuilt property in a semi third world (dodgy legal system etc) country. Can anyone put me straight?

Mr. Robert Filer and Mr. David Williams seem to be the representatives for the Pearl complex. Anyone know these guys?

  • had a phone call today from Nadya from Bulgaria asking if we would like to represent Dawn Park at the meeting in Bulgaria but we are unable to attend because of work .Nadya said she woul ask the next person on the list. She has told me we will all be informed the names of all people attending the meeting and which development they are representing as soon as she knows.Hope this puts peoples minds at rest a bit.

In reply to the Clown who questioned our sanity in buying property in a third world country, they said the same thing about America a while back.

Dont think many people paid up front though, they went out there and took it.

Hi to everyone who has purchased in the Albatros Development.
We need to hear from you so if you can private message me with your mobile numbers or email me and I will send you mine.

A group of people met on Saturday regarding taking action against both developer and Ambasun, we have all purchased apartments in the Albatros development so only really want people who have purchased in this development to contact us. We have discussed further steps to take and are all acting collectively so would be better if we all channelled our efforts as a group. I can update fully when we speak

Please private message me and I will send you the number to ring and let you know when we will all be next meeting up to discuss the next steps.

We have also discussed with Watchdog.

Hi have just stumbled across this sight by chance and am so glad i have. I have purchased an apartment at Albatros and feel that i have been kept in the dark about everything. I have been unaware of all the problems that have been going on call me naieve but its true its only through family, friends and work collegues that i've decided to see if i can find any info on ambasun.
I have paid my solicitor fees in December 06 along with my first installment of £26.000 plus i should have a free furniture package. There has been no correspondence until Oct 08 1 from Ambasun saying office has moved, then 2 letters from Bulgaria 1 requesting a signature and a official notification letter. I have recieved 1 email from Anna saying that work has stopped due to bad weather. Everything seems sus to me i feel totally lost but have realised today that i am not alone i just dont understand all the technical details. As i thought final payment was due in Dec i've remorgaged the house as part payment so am now paying that (house was paid off prior to that). After everything i've read today theres no way i'm paying my final installment how do i find out that my initial money has been received? talk about confused.com!
