Help!! Just got this in the post, what should I do??
Dear Pepe,
We act for Santa Claus ( Finance ) Ltd who have asked us to write to you because you have been a very naughty boy.
We note that in 1965, when you were fully 4 YEARS OLD( and so legally able to form a binding contract with the Santa Claus ( Finance ) Ltd representative at Woolworths in Aylesbury, Bucks ) you promised to be a very GOOD boy, and accepted our elfs' gift as confirmation that the Contract was binding.
However, since that date, you have quite clearly been a very, very naughty boy and we have been instructed by our Client to receive from you, within 14 days all gifts sent to you, in good faith on assurance of your own behaviour, after that date or to receive monies from you in lieu.
We have been informed that you own/jointly own the leasehold/freehold interest in the above property and we are instructed by our Client that failure to settle this outstanding Account could result in a Court Judgement against you and , should this be the case, they will then apply for a Stopping-Up Order on your chimney.
If you are unable to settle this Account in full then please contact the help desk on 0870 164 2045 ( enq@1stcreditltd.com ).
Yours,
T Fairy
