I was told by GR that they had cancelled the jobs due to the client cutting back on competitor visits but they would continue to complete their own brands?

I did say earlier that the ones I had cancelled were competitor jobs... although others have said they had jobs cancelled which were nothing to do with this client? When did they tell you this? I couldn't get through on the phone and have had no reply to my email.

Separate issue but does anyone else here find they start to view a company (when you're a genuine customer) by the quality of MS company they use? I must say I have often thought x company can't be much bothered about quality of service etc as they only use a rubbish MS company who pay buttons and don't give you the opportunity to write a proper report... and vice versa for the ones who use decent MS companies.

we will contact you should this assignment become available again.

perhaps they have lost the contracts for these companies... we may see them on RE for 2p a job soon lol

Yes, it was the same 'never knowingly undersold store'. Not done this one before and was actually quite looking forward to it. Hope I've got 'fastest finger', if it gets re-offered.

I've been in so many stamp shops this week that I found myself counting the people in the queue in front of me when I was buying my DS a lolly! So yes, think I do.

Hi Scaredy...I rang GR earlier around 5pm on the 0800 number which normally takes ages for them to answer. Talking of phone numbers I wish G*K would put a contact number on their assignment sheets.

Associa have some jobs up for grabs if you get an email from them get in quick.

I have looked at the car jobs, is it worth it after the petrol & time involved?

Hi folks,

I'm fairly new to all this and I seem to be having problems with selecting jobs from gapbuster.

Every time I have tried to checkout with my selected assignments in my basket, I have received this message...

Another assignment is being completed 5 days before/following the date you have chosen. Please try selecting another date.

I have tried selecting other dates but I just get the same message over and over again.

Has anybody else experienced similar problems or is this just the way the site works when the jobs have been taken?

Many thanks.
I've not had that message on Gap before. This week I did have another error message repeatedly, saying that I could only assign 15 jobs a day, despite not having assigned any for days. When I emailed them they said it might be because I had the maximum number of jobs for the month.

What I'm trying to say is, their error messages don't always seem to be accurate. I would send them a message, quoting the assignment number that you are trying to assign. They were helpful when I contacted them.

Now to see how the actual visits go and then the reports, but I have to visit the same showroom twice  for a different car and different trade in details ... has anyone else had this and how did this go?:confused:

Absolute rubbish. I told you all earlier. Mine was a bank - nothing to do with these retail outlets cutting back etc. They have cancelled everything. GR is obviously going down the pan.

Just had a load of jobs uploaded to RE, got myself a couple of pub meals and a phone call. Looks like March might be better than February!

Not been affected by the GR cancellations but it is intriguing, I cant imagine theyre going down the pan as theyve not cancelled everything, but if they made a mistake and released too many jobs at once/for the wrong dates it might explain the ones which arent part of the group cutting back.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
