As far as I am aware there is no restriction on taking people with you - I can't see anything in the notes to say I can't take anyone with me, and I've done about half a dozen jobs at this particular company before and have always taken someone with me, never had any problems.
Secondly, when the staff member handed me my debit card back without a receipt, I asked him if I would get a receipt at the delivery window and he said no, I can't give you a receipt as there's no ink in the printer. Plus, when I've done this drive-thru in the past I've always got the receipt at the order point as soon as I get my card back.
Either way, I've emailed Gap with the details now so will just have to wait and see what they say.
The main thing I'm annoyed about is that I'm having problems on a job that I never wanted to do in the first place. I was doing them a favour because I'm too bloomin' gutless to say no on the phone. Lesson learnt.
Sorry, I missed the one where you said that. I do apologise. I did one for GAP today that I didn't really want (after they phoned me). Tried for ages earlier to get onto webexpress, but couldn't. I presume they have problems. I'll try again tomorrow morning but I'm not going to lose any sleep over it! I hope you get sorted ok. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

I thought I'd say a quick hello. I've been browsing for a week or so and joined up to MS last week after reading through all the threads on here. I'm loving it so far. I started off with a drive through and was sooooo nervous that I could hardly remember what I was supposed to order. But I've got more brave as the week has gone on and did a couple of more complicated ones - one in a bank and one in a travel shop. Just taken on a few more bank ones for next week.
I'm not expecting to make a fortune, but it's nice to go off for my lunch hour and come back having earned a bit of extra holiday money :j .
So thank you everyone for all the advice, information and encouragement on here so far :T
Welcome... it is a bit nerve wracking at first, well, most of the time actually
but once you get into the swing, it gets easier and sometimes, almost fun!!0 -
Does anyone know if aol is ok to use for a business email address for RE or does it have to be "joe bloggs@webdesign.co.uk" for example. Thank you!SPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65

Owlet I'm pretty sure it cant be a generic free webmail/ISP based address. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Welcome Joey
As long as you keep doing what you're doing and read this thread you'll pick up lots of tips and opportunities that haven't been discussed recently.
By doing a drive through you've (imo) picked one of the ones you have to be on the ball with, it's not complicated as such but as you probably realised you've got to have the timing points perfect.
It does get easier especially when you do the same ones a few times. Once you get really into it, you'll realise that you find a lot is standard across the board - such as cleanliness and working machines and registers and queues - im sometimes quite sadistic and time things just incase it pops up in the questionnaire.
So keep doing what you doing and don't do what I got in the habit of doing and spending the money you make especially the aba-i cash!0 -

Still can't see these invisible hotels though... I'm begining to think they are merely an Urban Legend!
Me neither, I did send an email twicebut no response  I'll post here if I find out anything.

I am sure too that it can't be hotmail, gmail etc but aol is a paid service because you get it when you subscribe to them. Just thinking about the cheapest way to get one lol.
EDIT: Found it on RE. It can't be yahoo, hotmail, gmail or aol. Bummer!SPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65

Well it seems some of you were right, I just found this: "Grassroots UK Ltd goes into administration" - link here
That would be very strange. I did a bank job for them on Wednesday. Got a call yesterday on my answering machine asking me to call them. I did phone today at 2pm and the bloke said it was just to ask me to put the part of my results on relating to the visit and leave the rest until I get a follow up call.
Surely they would have told me not to bother. Bloke sounded perfectly normal not like someone who's job had just gone up the swanny.Clique member no 1.:D0 -
