OK, I just did my first face-to-face one for GFK.

It was really hard, things did not play out as the scenario suggested. I can't really go into details without giving it all away but I fear I may have not played it out properly and therefore may not get paid. GRRRRRRR. I suppose you just have to enter details and wait and see?

    Hey Guys

I have just signed up to Mecca games and for £10 stake won £68 on the slots. According to the T&C's they sould credit me £10 withn 24 hrs and Greasey Pam should give me £15 cash back too.

The question is am I really £93 up on the day?

This is off topic, i'm sure if you scout the forums, there will be a more appropriate thread that will answer your questions. But, yes, sounds like it. I did something similar recently. I have never played bingo in my entire life, not my thing at all, the nearest I ever get to betting is a little flutter on the horses if I ever get to a ladies day at the races. Up late and bored a few weeks ago, I saw an advert on TV for Galabingo.com, £20 free play if you sign up... after 3 glasses of wine it seemed like a good idea so I had a go! Signed up with the minimum deposit of £5, played a few games, didn't win a penny, forgot about it until I got an email saying the £20 free play had been deposited to my account, had another go and won £70 on my second game...and I still have the remainder of the free play money on my account.

Will probably never deposit any money again, but it was £5 well spent, £65 up in about 15 mins!

I'm a bit worried about the GR thing now, from what I gather there has been cancellations of at least 4 different clients, I'm considering ringing them, see if I can get any info. Has anyone who sent them a query email had a reply?

Just got this in reply to the message I sent via their website:

"You should have received an e-mail to say that that due to unforeseen circumstances, this visit has been cancelled. This is in no way a reflection on the quality of your work to date and is purely a Client decision."

Are these clients owned by a large electrical retailer's group? A group with a name made up of 3 letters?

If so, rumours have been rife for months that they're in financial difficulty - depends who/what you believe really.
