Can't remember who was asking, but haven't seen a response, about rescheduling a job on RE - yes very easy to do - select your job and then an option appears to reschedule it.

You will be deducted 2 points by them, but don't think we've ever quite worked out whether the points actually mean anything or not on RE, but we've had fun speculating!

Also ukmonkey, blindman was posting about a job that was available on the alerts thread - so no need to swear you know! :naughty:

Scaredy, I am positive that with the drive thru jobs you are supposed to get the receipt AFTER you have received the food and made your last time check- not at the pay point. This is so that the food delivery timings are not affected. You do also have to go alone to all the golden arches burger jobs. I think you may have to come clean if you can't give them honest times :( .

Not too sure what I have to 'come clean' over... this was NOT a golden arches job, I said so earlier in the thread. As far as I am aware there is no restriction on taking people with you - I can't see anything in the notes to say I can't take anyone with me, and I've done about half a dozen jobs at this particular company before and have always taken someone with me, never had any problems.

Secondly, when the staff member handed me my debit card back without a receipt, I asked him if I would get a receipt at the delivery window and he said no, I can't give you a receipt as there's no ink in the printer. Plus, when I've done this drive-thru in the past I've always got the receipt at the order point as soon as I get my card back.

Either way, I've emailed Gap with the details now so will just have to wait and see what they say.

The main thing I'm annoyed about is that I'm having problems on a job that I never wanted to do in the first place. I was doing them a favour because I'm too bloomin' gutless to say no on the phone. Lesson learnt.

Hi Josie! Thanks, it was me asking. I still can't see the option to reschedule, can you explain in idiot-speak please? Only for future reference - as it happens I rang them up and they rescheduled it over the phone for me, so all is well.

I don't *think* they've deducted points. I explained that when I booked the job it asked for a date straight away (I got 24 hours to book a date on my last job)... so I opted for tonight (options were tonight or tomorrow)... now I'm having babysitting probs so asked if I could swap to tomorrow. They were really nice - couldn't have been more helpful.
  • Hi folks,

I'm fairly new to all this and I seem to be having problems with selecting jobs from gapbuster.

Every time I have tried to checkout with my selected assignments in my basket, I have received this message...

Another assignment is being completed 5 days before/following the date you have chosen. Please try selecting another date.

I have tried selecting other dates but I just get the same message over and over again.

Has anybody else experienced similar problems or is this just the way the site works when the jobs have been taken?

    Many thanks.

Mine with GR was a bank. Maybe they're cancelling everything and shutting up shop!
Just to add further to the mystery, I've just had an email offering me a job, to be completed this week, with a bank.
I'm loathe to except it though, as it involves some travelling and if I had to pay to park, it wouldn't be worth it.
So, today:- 1 cancelled and 1 offered.

    Hi

When you click on your Job for RE you will go to Stage 4 Assignment details. Next to the date should be "change date of visit". You wont be deducted any points for rescheduling assignment you just wont be awarded 2 points for completing it on the original date.

Arrgh I am fed up with GYP. I can’t log on and I need to print my notes of to do a job! Also I did a chicken Job this week and I had a an email from them as the store claimed that I specified that I wanted a certain chicken and that’s why my waiting time was long which was a total lie.

    Edit: GAP now working

I was told by GR that they had cancelled the jobs due to the client cutting back on competitor visits but they would continue to complete their own brands?
