Can anyone help me here ?

    Thanks.

Often, yes there is a specified card you have to use, especially if the job spec is that you must use a card. If this is the case you will have had a list of the cards accepted within the brief. It is a long list and covers pretty much all the main cards- if I remember rightly! HTH

Please can anyone confirm that I have got the gist of the GFK bingo job?

The fee is £xx which you get paid in full. Expenses come out of that fee?

The brief says that the fee includes main session only - does that mean that I can't play the other games or just that it is at my expense?

I am thinking that they state the spends to show the split between paid expenses and your fee within the £xx they are paying??

Sorry if I am being thick! Thanks x
you can't do the other games as mystery shoppers aren't supposed to play the games where you can win big money. i usually just buy the main session but not the link game tickets.

the expenses come out of the £xx fee. my top tip for these jobs is to book them in when the main session is particularly cheap or free as you still get the same fee!

Thanks for clarifying that pebbles, I'm booked for Friday night but I will remember that for next time. I wish they would make the briefs clear (maybe it is, and I am just tired lol). Seems like a lot to remember for the questionnaire, a few trips to the loo may be needed lol.

Some people have been asking about the railway jobs on RE. I've still got 3 pending but it did say on all three briefs that the payment would be delayed for about 2 weeks as (I can't remember exact words) due to the client needing the extra time.

Also the gap jobs with the stamps they do list which debit cards you can use in the brief.

i went to two of these jobs in the last week. i won £25 on the first one and nothing the second time!!

the questionaire is ok. you don't need to remember names or descriptions which makes it easier.

are you a regular bingo player? i just treat it like a normal night at bingo as the questions are quite easy and things you would notice anyway.

That isn't the way I read it.I thought it was if you play the High 5's you pay it yourself ( or off your fee. It doesn't say mystery shoppers cannot play games where you can win big money.

You could if you were dead lucky win upwards of 1/2 million. Then the MS company says "Ah you shouldn't have been in that game." Fine then tell them the visit is void and you don't want the fee.

Then come back on here and get advice on how to spend all that dosh.:rotfl:

yes, I'm a regular player I'm afraid (as in once a month). My ex-Mum in Law introduced me years ago and I really enjoyed it. I usually get there about an hour before the session starts so I can have a drink, something to eat & some me time lol- I'll just do the same on friday. Hubby is miffed that he can't come :D . I took him a while ago & he enjoyed it too. sad isn't it :o
I will enjoy it all the more knowing I am being paid!
Well done for winning - that's fab. I have never ever won anything boo hoo.

Owlet you can take hubby. How would anyone know. Its not as if you have a sign above you saying MYSTERY SHOPPER. I have done loads of them and often took my mum with me.

It is different doing other visits where they can check back CCTV by the time you said you arrived etc. Just get hubby to go in a bit ahead or behind you and meet him inside.

i did that last week!! i thought if i win big i will sack this off as a mystery shopping job!!

i read somewhere that mystery shoppers shouldn't be in the position to win a lot of money - not sure if it was bingo or the casino jobs - i thought it made sense as the bingo/casino are paying you to play.

just thought - it was the casino - they said only play the low stake tables. bingo must be ok!
