feedback: gfk agreed to accept my visit although i was 20 minutes late for my bingo visit!0

With the Bingo ones are you supposed to go it alone then? Surely you would stick out like a sore thumb on your own? Most people go to the Bingo with a friend or relative don't they?0

That isn't the way I read it.I thought it was if you play the High 5's you pay it yourself ( or off your fee. It doesn't say mystery shoppers cannot play games where you can win big money.
You could if you were dead lucky win upwards of 1/2 million. Then the MS company says "Ah you shouldn't have been in that game." Fine then tell them the visit is void and you don't want the fee.
Then come back on here and get advice on how to spend all that dosh.:rotfl:
Well, that's why I was querying it, I couldn't see anything that said you mustn't play but I know what the MS companies can be like if you don't follow the everso clear brief that you have to be telepathic to decipher
Thought I would seek advice from those of you who have done them before.
The expenses part just says 'up to £xx' for main session, machines, interval games etc. So maybe just spend a nominal amount & the rest is in the pocket! I don't usually play the machines etc but I do like the link games.
WOW 1/2 a million would be dreamy- first stop a nice luxurious Sandals holiday somewhere hot for a month :j (reminder to self to make sure it is somewhere that GYP does burger jobs). Then back to MS cos I love it so much and it earns me loads  .SPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65

I have done a few mystery shopping jobs, it can be good, the only thing is sometimes the forms to fill in after can be very long. (for not great pay, not so bad if you get a free meal but not so good if you dont get anything out of the visit)
Also always ensure you read the visit instructions throughly as if you miss something you may not get re - inbursed for you visit & expenses.
Hope this helps..0 -
Did an RE pub job today, 103 questions in the report!
Need to consider whether it is worth the hassle.
Cheers Paul
I sympathise Paul and often you are answering the same question worded differently. Don't know if you saw my post about this recently. Q's like was the server wearing a name badge. Yes or No. I answered Yes and up popped the comment box in red so I just put The server was wearing a name badge.
Pointless isn't it.Clique member no 1.:D0 -
Ooops, I think we just presumed you go it alone. The notes make no mention of being alone or accompanied and as you say, who is ever going to know! Think it is time for bed, brain is definately fried after the day I have had! Eight children with learning disabilities who all decided to get out of bed the wrong side this morning - no fun lol but it keeps you on your toes!!SPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65

I'm itching to start with Tern hearing that
. I did the test visit & submitted it a week ago, but I haven't heard anything yet. Anyone know how long they take? Maybe I've bu**ered it up
, should have been ok I think.
Think it takes about 10 days to get the result. So no news for you is good news. Another good thing with Tern is if you have to make a test purchase they reimburse you in 48 hours.Clique member no 1.:D0 -

I did one last week so just reread the notes. It says you MUST purchase main books ( not high 5) It does not say you MUST NOT purchase high win books. And you don't upload any receipt so they don't know what books you purchased. Nor does it say you must do the visit alone.
I refused 1 last year as it was 45 miles away. Someone won the high 5's that day and everyone in the hall got £1100. Was I mad.:mad:Clique member no 1.:D0 -

Thanks Hollypear, I did read the notes right but I just wanted to clarify, it wasn't 100% clear. There have been many times when the notes have implied one thing but meant something else IYKWIM! I refused one about that distance from me this time round, maybe next time.... I will go for all the games as usual & enjoy it!SPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65
