The Mystery Shopping thread - part 6

Hi,
Yesterday I signed up to all the MS companies listed at the beginning of the thread and have received replies from RE, Gfk and BARE. I had to do some tests and they said they would get back to me with the results. I'm excited about getting started with this whole mystery shopping stuff, does anyone have any tips. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.0 -

Don't knock your granny when she's shaving!
Seriously though, I'd just say read as much of this (and any of the past five threads) thread as you can; you'll learn a lot.0 -

Hi all,
I signed up a little while ago with a Netherlands-based company called AQ Services, who were advertised in my Google Mail account (guess I get a lot of of mystery shopping emails). Has anyone worked for them before? The latest job offer I received from them was by email as follows, with a £20 fee.You will visit a telecom store in the UK or Ireland, where you will show interest in a SIM-free telephone which you would like to buy for a friend. You will also need to buy an insurance which will be recommended by the employee. During the visit, you will observe the handlings of the employee. The costs for the telephone and insurance purchase will be deposited on your bank account prior to the visit. The telephone, receipt and all other forms of paperwork received by the employee has to be sent by registered mail to an address in your country within 48 hours. The sending costs will also be reimbursed.
This is right on the border of my legit/scam boundary, so I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone else has had any dealings with them.0 -
My! Is it quiet this month for MS!
Just had to ring RE as went on a job for them on Saturday and they've closed the place down. I emailed but got no reply so had to phone. Luckily I will be paid the fee but not the reimbursement (which is no surprise as I didn't get anything!).
Will have to get around to doing the MS for Tern as I've been hearing good things about them.'Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.'

Ive joined several ms sites and going to do more. Do you print the info sheets off and put them in a folder. Ive joined tns and there was a ********* job to do, but i need to read through the notes 1st, and buy a stop watch as my phone hasnt got 1 in it! !!!!!!
Just a friendly reminder... DON'T post the names of clients in your posts, say something like 'the major burger chain'. It's against the T&Cs of your agreement with the mystery shopping company to reveal details of their clients.Dan

Sorted my Gap problem out. They sent me an email and it bounced, so they suspended me. My email has been coming through as normal though, so I wasn't aware there was a problem. The lady I spoke to is going to speak to IT and get the account reactivated. Here I go again on my own....0

How long do jobs normally stay as "pending" on RE? One that I did last Saturday is still listed as "pending", and no points have been given for it yet. The previous ones I've done for them have all been marked and moved to payment stage within a few days!0
