I have to do a MS at a supermarket and have to ask a product related questions. Has anyone got any suggestions, apart from the usual nut allergy one that I ask?

I've just added some jobs from Gap, but they are all showing as pending. Is this normal? I have had to rearrange some jobs, and I did cancel one yesterday. Does this mean I might not get any more jobs through Gap?

I've just added three stamp shops & for the first time ever it says "pending". I thought it may be because I also have three coffee shops with them for that day. I was just about to change the coffee ones to another day but if it's saying that for other people too I'll leave it for a while & see what happens!

I have just gone for two stamp jobs & they have been pending for about half an hour now. Must be another GAP glitch ;)

Just checked again after posting this & they have both been approved now!

  • Afternoon all - quick tax question (DH isn't around to ask!!). If I go to one town and do four jobs there when it comes to putting my milage down on my spreadsheet for tax purposes do I claim milage for all the jobs or just one of the jobs? I'm only doing one journey so seems daft to put it down for the four jobs (or I could be completely wrong!!)

But surely you'd do four journeys, wouldnt you? :)

Being proper about it though, you don't actually claim mileage against jobs, you claim them against journeys- it's just for MSing purposes it's easier to claim it against each job.

So you do four jobs in one town on one day, you claim for that one trip.

    Do I make any sense?!

Nope that makes perfect sense (I knew I should have kept this damn spreadsheet up to date!!!!). Hopefully by the end though I'll have worked out my profit (should be fun!!). Also what do you do if you make a loss e.g fee is £10 but mileage is £11? Thanks hun x
