  • Hi all
Edigital research seem quite desperate to get people to do a survey on getting a loan, for which they'll pay £30. However, you have to apply for a loan and then cancel which I don't think is particularly DFW. Details below, for those who are interested. Contact details are:

Do you have any friends or family who bank with Natwest or Lloyds or have a Barclaycard?
    Hello

Do you have any friends or family who bank with Natwest or Lloyds or have a Barclaycard credit card? If you do then we have a survey available that they can complete.

The survey involves signing up for a small personal loan and then cancelling it (although if they would just like to sign up for a loan then that is also fine).

The people do need to be in a position where they would qualify for a loan and so need to be employed full time and have a good credit rating..

We can pay people £30 for completing this very short survey - they simply need to sign up for a loan, take some screen grabs of the process and then wait for the paperwork to arrive,, send that to us and then cancel the loan application.

If you can think of any friends or family who might be in a position to do this survey and earn some extra money for Christmas then please let us know as soon as possible as they will need to sign up for the loan this week.

    Kind regards
    Lisa

Hmmm... This has gone up - it was £20 yesterday!
I'm tempted as I bank with Lloyds, but don't work full time, so keep rejecting it when I get the email - I've had six for this already! I know my credit rating is fine as I got it checked just before starting to Mystery Shop again, just in case I needed to know for this sort of thing - but I reckon with them stating you have to work full time, I wouldn't be suitable. I might get in touch anyway seeing as they are desperate!
    ;)
  • I went to do my first assignment today - what a disaster.

I had to locate a stand in a shopping centre and I couldn't find it anywhere, I was there for 2 and 1/2 hours, so I followed my briefing notes and rang the phone number on there, every time I rang I got an automated voice saying there is no-one to take your call please ring later, I rang 20 times and it was the same everytime, I returned home and rang again and this time it was answered and they said just to put down unable to locate stand.

I thought this one would be really easy, it has put me off a bit and I don't know if I will get paid as I couldn't do the assignment.

    I hope this is a one off!!

Everything is fine now and I am going to get paid:T
I just need help now with tomorrows assignments!!! Please.:D

I have a supermarket visit tomorrow and need some help!

Do I do all the things it says on the questionairre or just the things it says on the work pack.

    Any help would be great.

Is this with TNS? Follow the work pack - the printable questionnaire is always the same.

I would also check the questionnaire - sometimes there is something in the questionnaire that isn't in the notes.

whats the unspoken rule about asking for extra fees when the company call you? can someone pm me? Basically I've had the odd call now and just taking the jobs because I've not been finding many.
  • It is for tns and on the location sheet it has a list of counters and I also have a good enough to buy and products to check list but there is alot more on the questionairre to do and it seems from the questionairre I have to go to nearly every department and ask a question and the assistants name and description.

If I have to do all that it will take me ages to do and I dont really want to go to every department and ask an assistant if I dont have to, I just really need to check to make sure I am going to do it right and do everything I have to.

Discuss your concerns with your area manager and ask their advice.

Is this a 'competitor' shop you are doing? I had one a couple of weeks ago and was terrified because it seemed I had to go to virtually every department and ask questions and I was struggling to read name tags etc. Anyway, when it came to filling out the report, I realised it was much easier than I had thought.

The report didn't ask me to put any staff names in, just to note if they had been wearing a name badge. In fact, I only had to go to about 3 or 4 departments, but the assignment notes had made me think I needed to go to loads of departments. They rotate which departments you go to, so the notes list every department, and you have to look at the specific assignment notes to see which ones apply. It looked a nightmare assignment at first, and I was swearing never again - but once I did the report I realised it was actually much easier than I had thought.

I've done several of these. The printed questionaire is the same everytime but the online version only covers the departments mentioned on the location sheet and work pack information.
I think the questionaire refers to several rotations - you only do one set of rotations
