I had Gap ring me the other day wanting me to do a burger job. I explained it was half term, and I couldn't do it (even if I wanted to - which I didnt!!) because of the kids and I'm not allowed to take them with me. He said "Hang on" and went off and spoke to someone and I thought, Ah, they are using their brains, they're gonna let me take the kids .. he came back and offered a further few quid and said they really need it done, and I said can I take the kids and he said no, sorry. Madness when you consider a large majority of the burger joint's customers are young parents with families!

Their loss, not mine!!

I've picked up 5 jobs with GR today, all phone shops, 2 in Lakeside and 3 in Bluewater, all paying almost 100% more than Gap pay for phone jobs. Result!!!

Need some urgent help please! :eek:

Did my first assignment a few minutes ago, had to visit a pharmacy for Retail Eyes. I'm entering the details on the site now, and its asking for the name of the person who served me! I checked to see if she had a badge on, which she did, but I didn't take note of it. :huh:

What should I enter??

Also, is the receipt number the VAT number?

Mwesty - not done a phrmacy job so no idea what receipt looks like but the receipt number is usually unique to the receipt so its not the Vat no.
did u get a good description of the person, could you go back and go in again, to try and catch the name.
Its your 1st assignment so don't worry, a few more and you will be remembering everyone who serves you even when you are not on a job.

I just picked up a load of the phone shops on GR too, my Saturday is looking busy now after complaining!
Takes my mind off another firm who are saying that my visit is invalid because I had a small dog in the car which caused the server to drop my bag of food (which they never did!). they are only complaining because it was a negative visit, if I'd praised them sure the dog would have been fine!

I remember what she looked like but it was about 10 miles each way and it's only paying a fiver so I have probably lost money already. I only accepted it to get me out of this probation period with Retail Eyes.

The VAT number is at the top of the receipt then at the bottom it says...

Term 1 Inv 13518 Oper 4
Store 6867 Date 30/10/2008 15:59

No other details on the receipt except the address and the product purchased etc.

Can I just ask how you pick up loads of jobs on these sites too.. I signed upto GR a few day ago and only 1 job has appeared so far which I missed. Same with Gfk, only been 2 jobs so far.

I think I put in the Inv no. for my receipt no. on this assignment. You have to scan it in anyway so they will look at that for back up anyhow!

To all the Glasgow and neighbouring area MS peeps.

Is it me or is there very little jobs going? Also has anyone done any jobs for GR / JKS / MCE/ OC/ CRI

Thery are just a few of the companies I've signed up with and had nothing. Checked daily, emailed them etc.. Wondering if being a bloke with no kids doesn't help?
