Hi Rj and SC, it is for a main supermarket not a competitor - I do that next week!
So I just follow the list which is on the location details but when I do the questionairre what do I put in the places where it says for instance Deli but that is not on my location details sheet??
Sorry for acting like I am stupid;) but after my experience with re the other day I really dont want to muck this one up so I am probably getting myself worked up.
I emailed my area manager and she said to do the ones on the list so I presume this is the location details list?
I will be back on here tomorrow and saying I dont know what I was worried and fussing about:rolleyes:0 -

You only need to visit the sections of the store listed on the 'location details' page. Only these sections will appear for completion when you come to enter your report. The questionnaire in pdf/adobe is a generic one including every possible department across all stores.
Best of luck! I've done tons of these ones, they're easy after a few times.0 -

Can't blame me Vicki either as Glasgow jobs seem scarce at the moment. Are you with GR as they do my Asda where I work frequently.Clique member no 1.:D0 -
whats the unspoken rule about asking for extra fees when the company call you? can someone pm me? Basically I've had the odd call now and just taking the jobs because I've not been finding many.
The nearer it is the deadline the more power you have to negotiate. I ask for an extra £5 if it's close as a daily travel ticket would be £4.30 and the 70p surplus would be just because I am probably making a special effort for them.0 -
Personally I'd steer clear of RE unless it's a good job (very rare) or you were going there \doing that anyway.
Their stupid questionnaires drive me nuts.
Q. "Were the lights on"
A. Yes.
"Please comment"
Q. How many people in the queue
A .1
"Please comment"
Quite often their expenses are classed as a "contribution" i.e don't cover the actual spend.
I don't know why I bother, but I will say it yet again.
If you keep a file of useful answers, RE jobs take about a tenth of the time. You can paste in standard answers such as the following.
Q. "Were the lights on"
A. All lights were on and the shop appeared bright and well lit.
Q. How many people in the queue
A .There was one person ahead of me, but they moved to the till after x seconds.
It is extremely easy to modify these questions so that RE and their clients will be very happy. For example, the following answers are very different, and very helpful to the MS company.
All lights were on and the shop appeared bright and well lit.
All lights were on but the shop appeared dim.
Almost all lights were on and the shop appeared bright and well lit.
All lights were on but this seemed unnecessary as the day was bright and well lit.
Very few lights were on and the shop appeared dim.
Very few lights were on but this did not matter as as the day was bright and well lit.
As you can see, there was not much modification needed once I'd taken the time to type the first sentence!!!!!!Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -

My point is that for the abysmal fee they ask a lot of stupid questions, that even when cut and pasted still take time to answer.
For the Hotel jobs there are 140 Q's, no fee, no mileage, the expense is a "contribution" and now you cannot earn hotel points.
I won't be doing those again unless I really need to have hotel room.
The majority of jobs RE now have are really not good value at all when time taken to complete is compared with fee and any perk obtained.0 -
Has anyone done a recorded call for RE, ther is one in my area, but I'm not sure if I'd need special equipment etc!0
