Nope, I still look for jobs several times a day and plan day trips around it.0

Ive got a job coming up for a bowling alley that requires me to make a telephone booking beforehand and report on that, but I don't know how soon to make the call? The visit is this Saturday so was thinking about calling on Friday.... I can't bowl for the life of me so this should be interesting
I only need to accept one more job before Friday and i've made £100 this month  not bad for my first month of mystery shopping!Make £10 a Day Challenge February Total - £46/£2800 -
How long does it normally take to hear back from these sites after signing up? I signed upto... Retail Eyes, GfK, Gapbuster, TNS and GrassRoots.. I got my account opened with Retail Eyes, GfK and GrassRoots but theres no jobs at all available on GfK and GrassRoots - when will there be a job in my area for these two? I filled in the test with TNS but aint heard back and Gapbuster aint emailed me back either.0

All bowling alley places are different, I guess, but my local one gets really busy on Fridays and Saturdays - I would say you need to book as early as possible, unless the assignment notes specifically tell you to ring on a certain day.
By the way, if it's not too cheeky, could you please PM me the name of the company because I've never seen a bowling alley come up on the jobs list, and I wouldn't mind having a go at that! Thanks!0 -

It could be Optimum Contact.
The phone call is usually a dummy booking which has to be done a.s.a.p and recorded.(then cancel later).
The actual booking call is up to you.
Different scenarios, some are couples\families and some are for peak or off peak times.
Simple job, usually with food and drink.
I also think I have seen them with RE (but have never done any for them).0 -

I am with OC but have never seen a bowling alley come up!
I'm also with RE but have never seen anything decent with them - jobs are either too far to be worth the trip, or they're local but pub jobs, which don't really suit me as I don't get out much these days  I'd happily do a meal, where I can take hubby, but not really bothered about getting a babysitter and going into town just for a drink.0 -

With OC they allocate them to you, the only choice you get is whether of not to accept the job. Nowadays you also have to be quick as they've implemented a FFF allocation.
Personally I'd steer clear of RE unless it's a good job (very rare) or you were going there \doing that anyway.
Their stupid questionnaires drive me nuts.

Quite often their expenses are classed as a "contribution" i.e don't cover the actual spend.0 -
Yes, I am wary of RE after some of the things I've read on here about their reports!
As for OC, they're actually one of my favourites, but I haven't had any work from them this month, it's been really quiet. There were a couple of jobs, but I lost out as my finger wasn't as fast as someone else's. I'm still sulking even though it was about 3 weeks ago! Nothing has been offered to me since then.0 -

It is with optimum contact. Its the first job I've done with them so i'm a bit unsure. Will try to phone tommorow then and see how it goesMake £10 a Day Challenge February Total - £46/£2800 -
