Fish didn't even last the night. Have bought another one now from our local garden centre and he's fine. Would have taken it back but it was too far to go for the sake of £2.52!!! Going to buy a nice new tank with a filter now (thanks Beccles) as saw some nice colourful fish that I fancied. On a happier note though just got back from town to find out that DD1 had won £50 on her Premium Bonds. I'm off to do some more competitions now to see if I can have some good luck. I need to do another stamp job lol

Thats terrible ellie ! Enjoy the new fish and well done on the Premium bonds - my mum won £50 in Jan, but still nothing for me ;-( I've started comping as well as its been so quiet on the MS front.

Any joy on the comping front? I've only won twice but a lot I've entered didn't finish until this month or next month so fingers crossed. I usually use this board's postal, text and and phone competitions thread which is brill.

When I spoke to Abai last week I was informed the booked funstion is not working as they are trying to improve and tweak the current website!

No, nothing yet, but like you say, I only started entering so a lot of comps have not finished. I used to comp b4 I found the MS board and did quite well - won lots of little things - biggest thing I can remember is a box of toys, that I gave away as pressies, which was good. I enter mostly the web ones, which are listed in main comp board, and only stuff that I want.
MS has been really quiet and I see the RE pubs are hanging around for ages - manky pub and 100 odd questions, I Think Not !

i went to do the train station job and the bl00dy chicken royale was more than the reimbursement - aaaarrrgghhh!!

i ended up throwing it in the bin!

i also did a bar at the train station and the glass of wine i had to order was also more than the reimbursement - i am glad i wasn't going out of my way for these jobs.

Hi Pebble, Me to , I did one the other day and it was for a burger - was 50p more than the reimbursement, was going to contact RE and tell them, but really can't be bothered with them, I'm just not going to do that job again!
I thought it was just me as no one had ever mentioned it ! I to only did the jobs as I was in the area for better paid job !

I've noticed the same with Gap pizza assignments, there is more stuff to purchase on the brief than there used to be but they haven't put the reimbursement payment up.

Last time I did an eat-in assignment I noticed that you now have to book your table. Hilarious...table for one at 2pm on a Tuesday afternoon ordering more food than I could possibly eat. They knew exactly who I was, talk about giving the game away, it couldn't be any less discreet!

i have put on the questionaire that it wasn't enough -i might get in trouble but they shouldn't try to rip us off!
