You don't get anything for what you spend in the shop. I only ever buy either a pint of milk or some bread - something I would buy that day anyway.
I just did my first yesterday. In the briefing notes, it said that anything I spent on petrol would NOT be reimbursed, but I had to spend £10 in the shop, including one item specified. This £10 would come out of my fee.
Maybe they have different scenarios depending on the place? I can see there is a different one elsewhere that has a smaller fee, so might be a different scenario?0 -

Must be a new scenario, as the brief says petrol doesn't count towards the minimum spend - you have to spend at least £5 in the shop...
The brief says 'you will be paid £10 for undertaking each visit', but it doesn't mention them paying the cost of the purchase in the shop...0 -
Can anyone help...I'm v.confused about ABA-i.
I registered with them years ago and everytime I look on the site there are no jobs at all. Looking today I see I'm only registered to work with one client (big clothing retail group).
How can I register to work for other clients, like the petrol one for example? I've been looking on the website for ages and can't find any links to other clients.
Would appreciate any advice...0 -

Give them a call or email them, and they'll add a couple of extras on for you...0 -

Yes probably a new scenario....a lot of theirs seem to have changed recently. The department store ones use to have a minumum spend of £10 and you would get £10 incentive (fee) so it covered what you bought so whatever you bought for £10 you basically got for free.
Now however they've changed the minimum spend to £25 and you still only get the £10 incentive so you're just getting a £10 discount off what you have bought as long as it comes to over £25. The cheek!
You've probably seen me mention this several times on this thread...its one of those things that really irks me!0 -

can you return the item though so you havent had to spend the £25?0 -
Does that "booked visit" function actually work on abi-i? Someone mentioned a clothing group being available on there but I can't see any at all.0

According to the FAQ, you can - but always double check as some companies state you can only return if the item is unsuitable. What if I don't want my purchase?
It will be entirely up to you whether you keep the item you buy as part of your shopping trip. If you don't want it you will be free to return it, unused, within 28 days of the purchase date. You must, however, keep it until after you complete your questionnaire as there is information on the receipt you will need to tell us about.0
