Can someone help with regards to bookkeeping for my assignments?
I'm absolutely confused as to where I should be putting my expenses such as mileage and printing costs.
I'm using MS Office Accounting...
(Opportunity to look at my jobs :rotfl: )
These are the jobs I've done and been paid for...
These are the jobs I've got to be paid for...
Is this where I put my expenses?
I'm completely unsure if I put them in the invoice or on this screen or anywhere else for that matter!
Two more screenshots that might help...0 -
I would raise a purchase invoice - use the MSing company's name or suchlike for the supplier (e.g. "GAPBuster - Burger shop") and enter all costs related in the invoice detail.
As I deleted MS accounting a while back I've no idea what the invoice looks like! Email me at timmne@gmail.com if you need help on the accounting entries!0 -
I have had two show up on GFK but the first one I wasn't able to do as I couldn't take my baby with me and couldn't get childcare and the second, after I accepted it I got a phone call from GFK saying it had been put on there by mistake!
GFK just did the same to me too, I was phoned by a very amateur girl to say the job shouldn't have been on the website in the first place. Very annoying  especially when there's so little else around at the moment.0 -

I did a MS on one of the pet shops yesterday, had to hang around for ten mins looking at bunnies before approaching someone if I was not been approached but there was no one I could see on the floor so had to approach the till. A very bored young man told me usually someone would be able to help me, but they were all busy with the fish this afternoon. No apology, no explanation of when someone would be free, or even explaining what was so exciting about the fish! Bet I don't get paid and it really irritates me as in fact the customer service was what was so dire I could not complete my report!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I've not done that one.
Did it mention what to do if you couldn't get any assistance? If it didn't mention what to do, did you wait a reasonable amount of time after you spoke to the guy on the tills to see if anyone did come around?
If you did wait but still no one helped you or could help you, just put your case forward on what you've said that you couldn't get any help and the till guy said that the shop was short staffed.
You probably will end up repeating this information throughout the report!0 -
You should get paid as long as you detail everything in the report. I had this problem with a well known electrical retailer and they paid me as the report detailed the problems.0

I did another slow lap of the store to see if I could get anyone, but by that point I had been there nearly 25 mins and tbh the guy on the till's attitude really angered me, he just clearly wanted to go home, if I had been a customer I would certainly not have gone back to the store. Briefing notes just said if no one approached within 10mins to approach someone myself, I think it assumed someone would be available!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I think you're in the absolute clear and definitely should be paid.
You did everything a reasonable shopper could do (perhaps even more!) and still didn't receive the expected service and therefore left the store as a normal shopper would.0
