I have had two show up on GFK but the first one I wasn't able to do as I couldn't take my baby with me and couldn't get childcare and the second, after I accepted it I got a phone call from GFK saying it had been put on there by mistake!

Jobs for GFK seem to come in waves for me, there will be nothing for a couple of weeks, then i'll get 5 in one week. They seem to roll out the jobs in waves by area too, theres been alerts and talk this week of jobs in Scotland, but I haven't seen a thing where I live. That said, it does seem a little more quiet than usual, that could mean a) theres no work or b) they are gearing up to put a lot of jobs on. I hope its the latter, GFK are my fave MS company.

Last summer I had quite a few Gfk jobs especially phone ones. Have had absolutely nothing since October.

Nothing on RE at the moment and a few on gap.

Very quiet here as well. :rolleyes:

(Long time lurker, first time poster!)

I have just completed my very first mystery shop... one of the ever popular 'burger' jobs, it was all going well until I asked for a receipt... all of a sudden 3 staff members (one of whom a manager) jumped out of no where and produced all of my food in about 5 seconds... lots of cheery smiles and 'enjoy your meal' while I trundled off with my tray!

When I sat down to eat my food the manager decided to ask myself and the people sitting on tables near to me if everything was alright with our meals and if we needed anything... I think I got busted!

Was pretty tempted to give a bored yawn as I'm pretty sure that someone would have leapt from behind the counter to give me a rendition of the CanCan!

Ah was all good fun though and I can't wait to do my next one... and I am asking for a receipt EVERYWHERE I go now! XD

There are regular bank jobs on there for me - the normal ones, plus these ones for what seem to be for wealthier customers that have the nice fee. It does say you can only do the client once every 3 months (not sure if that's the branch or the client). Maybe that's why some people haven't seen them come up recently. That's all I seem to get offered - apart from the place you go to look for a job and I can't do either as I work full time, Mon - Fri and they don't let you do them on a weekend or within half an hour of opening or closing.

I only do the burger jobs for the floorshow. I get disappointed now if I don't get rumbled

What happens on RE if you don't take a photograph?

My phone battery died on Friday so I couldn't take a picture of the pet shop, but I didn't realise this until after I'd done the shop. Submitted the report anyway, but they've emailed asking for a photograph, so mailed back and explained again why I wasn't able to take one. Just waiting to see what they say now.

Happens to me all the time too! But only when MSing.

I went into one of the places I have shopped at last week just because I was starving and it was convenient so I thought I would ask for a receipt in order to get them falling all over me. Boy was I wrong.

The girl behind the till was chewing gum and was somewhat disintersted in serving me, the place looked a complete mess and the tables that had not been cleared away on my arrival were still dirty when I left. I thought if I asked for the magic receipt everything would soon smarted up.

Nope! Nothing happened. I have a feeling they know what day they are going to be shopped and are on red alert.

Surely you'd think the receipt would be proof enough that you'd been there. Is it far away? Otherwise go back and take another pic.

I've got the reciept and the shop has CCTV. I named the assistant and said where I was standing when he started chatting to me, so they should be able to look that up if they wanted to.

It's a fair distance away but as I was in that area anyway on Friday for a company who pay mileage, it was worth it! I'm juggling things round children off school this week, so haven't time to get back today or tomorrow. Might be able to get there on Wednesday though.
