As for BARE i have applied for jobs but heard nothing, anyone know whats the deal???

I wish I was getting as many jobs as some of you. I belong to at least five companies, I manage to get work regularly with three of them but even then I am lucky to average one to two jobs a week in total, sometimes none, like this week so far. GFK are showing absolutely nothing for me again. The most jobs I have ever had in a week is three and that was a one off. I must live in the wrong part of England here on the south coast I think. It does seem like the phone assignments have dried up somewhat as well.
Just out of interest, whats the maximum distance most of you will travel to a job? The furthest I have gone is 20 miles, anything over that would appear to be unprofitable these days. I wouldn't mind going further for a nice stay in a Hotel though:D

I suppose it depends on what the fee/incentive is, but for me 20 miles would prob be too far. But like you, I would make more of an effort for a hotel LOL

There doent seem to be many here . I have registered for quite a few companies and have only done jobs for 1 so far

I did contact one of my regular companies asking whether there was any problem with my account as I just didn't seem to be seeing many assignments for my area, but was told that there was no problem and just to keep regularly looking which I do several times a day. Does anyone know of any companies which have regular work on the south coast?

Bare are a bit of a mystery. They do pay, and you need to get your shopper rating up with them by doing the self assign jobs, but beyond that I have not been very successful in getting jobs with them. Others have had more success but the experience of applying for a job and seeing it apparently still available is very common. Personally, I think its worth applying, but only the self assign/phone jobs are reliable.

I've found if you search for your local big city (Glasgow for me), it shows loads more jobs than what appears in the available job page.
