I'm having problems getting a burger assignment with gap, would it be because my last assignment that they have seen results for would have been for the same place?

I have done a diff place since then but results not filed until Friday night
For gap jobs someone else has to shop a place before you can go and do that same one again. When you can go again will depend how often that place is shopped if that makes sense.

Ah ok, that would explain it, though that may cause hassles as the last one at that place was a phonecall asking if I would do it short notice, which was nice for a bit extra cash, but that will rpob mean its in an out of the way location, which it is a bit :(

If they need it doing desperately this time they may phone you again - they can override their own rules manually when it suits them:rolleyes:

An insurer isn't going to go through your handbag looking for evidence or anything or search your car. Of course the choice is yours what you choose to do, so I'm not advocating one way or another, just pointing out what happens.

I was told they might if the car was badly damaged and had to be recovered from the accident site.

I used to work in a lab, and sometimes we had to go to another lab to borrow stuff. I was told always to borrow one of the directors cars which had business cover as if mine was in an accident and it had lab equipment in, my insurance would be invalid.

Presumably if the car was trashed and you had MS paperwork in it, or were carrying POS material for a merchandising job, then they would know you were working on business rather than MS'ing.

I did have an accident when out MS'ing! I'd stopped at a roundabout as there was traffic on it, and the silly girl behind wasn't paying attention as she was chatting to a friend and she drove straight into the back of me. The whole back end of the car needed replacing and I had a courtesy car as the buses round here are pants.
Here I go again on my own....

The reason you were using the directors car is because you were actually transporting equipment, in essence you were acting as a courier.

But like I said, its possible that different insurers see it differently.

Coffee houses on GAP ..... I have never seen a coffee house on GAP, nor have it in my client orientation. Does anyone else have this??

Coffee houses on GAP are by invitation only - you can email them to ask to be invited, and if they have any vacancies in your area they may accept you. You have to have special equipment, which they will send you, to do these jobs.
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).
  • Do the companies only make certain types of shop available to you depending on what you have done / how well you have done previously?
  • The rating on Retail Eyes seems to just clock up each time one does a job. Does it count for anything?
  • Hi everyone, I signed up to GAP and never really heard anything until yesterday were I got an email saying some restaurant assignments had become available near me but how do I login or get the information?

When you registered, they would have sent you an email with your log in and password details. Find those and Bob's your uncle...;)
