Hi all,
Thanks the advise you all gave me for registering etc. I have my first burger job for GAP tomorrow so I'm up and running! Can I just ask a quick question?
I have read the evaluation sheet and am not sure on one question - with reference to food quality, you are asked if the dine in meal was received as ordered - what if you are not dining in? The answer options are only yes or no. Or do I just ignore that?
TIA your help is very much appreciated for newbies!
You should be dining in. You are supposed to spend some time in the store (from memory at least 15 mins) so you can continue to observe. At least, that's what has always happened when I have done burger shops for GAP.
Don't risk leaving the store early, as they have CCTV and will use any excuse not to pay you!Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -

Thanks for the swift reply jobbingmusician, but I am drive thru, this is why I was a bit puzzled by the question. The rest of the evaluation relates to drive thru as do the questions immediatly after this one on food quality...SPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65

I would answer it as "did you get the correct order?" and answer accordingly. You dont have to go into the restaurant on a drive thru (I think there are some rules about you need to taste food straight away though). The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0 -

Hi jessicamb, I will do that. I'll get the feel of it once I've done a couple. I have picked up a phone shop in another town about 20 miles away next weekend, need to do some more Christmas shopping anyway so may as well do it there. I can't wait to start now!

Hi, can anyone help please? I've accepted a few jobs with RE to complete over this weekend, but these have been the first ones I've accepted since they changed their site. I went onto the site to do my reports and can only get as far as submitting my expenses. Then i get a message telling me that i'm using an outdated brower and to 'please upgrade'. Then it just says 'loading...please wait', and then just stays like that, and nothing else happens.
Does anyone know what i should do please? I'll phone RE tomorrow, but i won't be able to contact them until late afternoon cos i'll be working at one of my other jobs.
TIA for any help you may be able to offer. x0 -
Hi Chelseagirl, you could email the contacts on the notes to advise of your problem, then it means the time you have contacted them will be on the email.

Couple of thoughts on previous queries.
Regarding insurance, of course, legally etc., you should cover yourself for business use, if it does hoik (technical term) your premium up a bit this is what happens if you're in an accident, you will be asked where you were going i.e. "I was going shopping" - no word of a lie. An insurer isn't going to go through your handbag looking for evidence or anything or search your car. Of course the choice is yours what you choose to do, so I'm not advocating one way or another, just pointing out what happens.
The other thing about left and right of a shop, they (well, Gap and RE) only double check this if there's a problem and they doubt you may have been there or been to the right place. If I forget I usually just make it up, by saying newsagent or house or something, and have never had any problems. If you've got your receipt from the right place you should have a problem.0 -

Thanks for your reply. I've clicked on the technical feedback button, and explained what's happening so hopefully they'll get back to me or else i'll phone them tomorrow afternoon. x0 -

I'm having problems getting a burger assignment with gap, would it be because my last assignment that they have seen results for would have been for the same place?
I have done a diff place since then but results not filed until Friday night0
