I've found that provided you can get through to RE and to the person who knows anything about your assignment then they are generally pretty reasonable to deal with. Right now they are also going through pain with this new website so they seem to be very understanding.

On the new website, can we no longer search for new assignments? Do they, or rather should they just appear instead of the 0 available button on the left hand sidebar?

The assignments show 0 if none are available in your definded areas. Though try and refresh your page incase any have creeped on whilst you have been logged in.

Actually directly after you posted that I did as you suggested and have managed to pick up a new telephone one. As I hadn't ventured onto the beta site I've been cautiously picking my way around the new site.

I spoke to one of the team at RE yesterday and she sounded like she was at the end of her tether with it and all the complaints. I know there will always be teething troubles with any changes but it does sound like they've had more than most on this one. I have a report to put in this afternoon so we will see.

Just had a phone call from a ms company I do work for asking me to do a burger assignment which has been cancelled. But thanks to reading posts on this forum I know this is a very complicated job involving visiting 2 competitor outlets as well and getting prices for everything. And the pay is lousy for all that work....so thanks to you guys I have saved myself a lot of trouble and have declined the assignment.

I have a supermarket job to do for TNS and they haven't e-mailled me back with an answer to my query about it....

The brief states certain aisles that are in the store whilst the questionnaire goes into detail about lots of different aisles. Do I need to check just the aisles mentioned in the brief or all the ones on the questionnaire that are present in store? Thanks,

Hi guys, I completed my second MS today and I'm not sure it gets any easier...I found the experience itself easier but find the paperwork afterwards very time consuming. Also, the questions and answers seem a little bit repetative to me. Am I just misunderstanding the questions or is this a common issue we all experience. May be it's just the nature of the jobs I've taken so far as first one was a bank and todays was a phone shop. Didn't think I would ever get to the end of the questionnaire as every answer involved a three sentence comment. Phew !

Click on the link in the email, on the 2nd page you should get a list of what departments you need to visit

The questionnaire is 10 or so pages long, but covers every single department so many are not applicable, just leave it blank or cross through them to remind yourself. When you fill it in online it will only ask the relevant questions.

If there is not a member of staff in the department you may leave after 30 secs. I usually only end up assessing 2/3 staff members as there's hardly any on the shop floor

Thanks a lot On the shopping list, there's one product to check that isn't included on the extra counters. Can I just ignore this then?

Hi - With a moniker like that you must be with RE! I write a general report in WORD after I get back, based on what I had to look at. Then copy and paste the relevant bits into the Qaire, and at the end you have your summary still for when that's requested. Hope that helps!

Hmm, in theory...but...I have 2 towns situated 10 miles apart, for one I have given the radius of 50 miles (town X), the other a radius of 20 (town Y) - so in theory, all the jobs for town Y will show under town X if I filter out one of the towns. However, town Y shows no jobs if I filter out town X, whilst town X was showing 3 jobs with addresses in the middle of town Y!! Work that one out! And town X shows jobs in another town more than 50 miles away, claiming that they are 5 or 6 miles away!
