Are you 100% sure there wasn't one; did you ask a member of staff?

I'm 110% sure there wasn't one as its my local store and in there quite often, I asked someone where it had gone and they said it had gone to make more room for christmas stock.

It's possible when the bloke from GR rang up he got someone new who just answered yes because there usually is a clothing counter there, and didn't realise it had been removed to make way for Christmas stuff.

Why don't you ring up yourself, or go in, get the name of someone who confirms to you that the clothing has been removed and then get back in touch with GR and explain? I have to say I've always found GR to be really good - they are human, not like some of the others!
  • Agree with SC, give GR a call and explain the situation.
  • haha...that is if you can report on anything. I can see the jobs but not report.

This is such a good game, I hope I can play it all night long.
You know how it goes, log in, bring up active job, write some words, error message, get thrown out. Start again.

Any new MS out there; do not start with RE, you'll be put off for life. And if RE is reading, do reply on here with an explanation of how we are to fit in with your deadlines.

    I'm going to lie down...

I finally did some work with RE after being registered for 2 years (lol). Got thrown out of the system 3 times on Friday night (day due for putting report in), gave up and did it the following morning. Did not contact them but to be fair they have approved the report, money waiting to be paid and I can now take more than one assignment (and can see others apart from a long list of places I didnt fancy going to). But point taken about them putting people off - if I hadn't done some fab work for Bare and GFk then I wouldnt have bothered. (And they have both paid when they are meant to which cheered me up).

I played that for 2 weeks on my last RE job...I was one of the 'lucky' ones testing the new site.

We finished the job off on the phone. Nightmare.

No. But I got a call from GAP today at around 2:00pm (they're in Australia so this is 1:00am their time!) telling me that in a recent burger job I did they think they clocked on who I was and she asked me if I wore my hair a certain way and was I pushing a pram? I said no, that wasn't me. It just makes me wonder, why are they asking? Anyone had anything like that before? Is they burger place playing back their video tapes to see who the MS is?
i used to work at a fast food place and we always played the cctv back to see which members of staff were on the till etc. never really paid any attention to the shopper. we used to wer any old name badges so the name on the report was necessarily who was on the till at the time.

I had this before. The burger place got a poor report, and so they claimed I went in, ordered the food and left and my restaurant and toilet observations were not valid.

However the person on CCTV who did this had dark hair and was wearing jeans and a red coat. I'm blonde and I know I was in buiness wear that day as I was also doing merchandising work for someone else.

Once Gap realised the identified person on CCTV was not me, they accepted my report.
Here I go again on my own....
  • I've never had a report challenged with Gap, but dont do too much work for them!

How did you get into doing merchandising Beccles, if you don't mind me asking. Was it for a MS company? I think I saw one once on Gfk for expensive fashion shop but couldn't do it on the visit days available.

Also has anyone done a Pizza visit for tns and took 2 people?

Doing one tomorrow. Not done one before though, so probably won't be any help!
