Timmne will the nice taxman look favourable if I say I need a Ferrari. I have been doing some bank jobs ( not with a mask) where I have to pose as wealthy. Doesn't look quite right parking my 7 year old Peugot at the door. LOL:rotfl:

  • I am having problems with RE too, have a french sandwich shop to put on and can't get anywhere near it.

Appear to be having more reliability problems since beta site.

Does anyone know how to tell what jobs I've been paid for with Gap this month? I can't get what I've been paid to match what I think I'm owed

Best way is to look at the "My assignments" tab and see which jobs you did in October as that is what you should be paid for this week. HTH

React Surveys have also paid today!

I'm guessing it would depend on your arguements as to whther or not the taxman would let you have it as a genuine expense

If they say go into a shop and buy something and we'll only reimburse upto £20 of your spend. Then the taxman might ask why did you have to spend £20. Could you not have spent £1 and still completed the report as required?
They may not let you have the full amount as it was not a genuine business expense

But if they say you have to buy x y & z but we'll only reimburse part of the cost (because you get to eat x y & z) then you could argue that it was a genuine business expense as you could not have completed the job without incuring the cost.

It's complicated and you might want to put something on the taxes forum to get some of the ex-tax inspectors advice

Mtem where is the taxes forum. Is it on this site??

Just a warning for merchandisers and auditors.

I've been doing some regular work which involved visiting a Sainburys once a fortnight.

This week I was refused entry to Sainsburys because I'm not an accredited merchandiser! The company you work for has to apply to Sainsburys to have you accredited, then you go into your local store and take a test, then get given an "Accredited Merchandisers" badge which allows access to any Sainsburys store.

I had a look at the list and it's mainly big multinational companies on the list and I only saw one field marketing agency on there.

I told the company I was working for and they said they are trying to get people in to get accredited but they haven't managed to do that yet.

So if you take on any work that has to be carried out in a Sainsbury's store, be prepared to be denied entry unless you've done the accreditation.

I was speaking to another rep who was signing in and had already passed. She said the test is just common sense and multi choice, and in her words "a load of crap really" :D
Here I go again on my own....

Hi everyone, Please can you help a newbie? I've just been accepted with one MS company and was wondering how many companies you all register with. I am looking at working evenings, weekends and school holidays. I don't want to sign with one and find I'm twiddling my thumbs but don't want to take on too much either lol. Any advise would be appreciated. You all sound as if you are quite busy!
    SPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65
    SPC 9 (2016) #485 TOTAL £84
    SPC 10 (2017) # 485 TOTAL: £464.80
    SPC 11 (2018) #485
  • But that would mean deleting all the answers as all the questions are coming up as oops except the first

If you've got time to do it, I'd say apply to all those on the first page. It'll take a while to get registered and started anyway. Gap is a good one to start with - not great pay, but easy jobs to get you used to what you need to do and short replies needed - quite often just tick boxes and times etc. You can then start to pick and choose and be more selective about what suits you.

You'll only be as inundated as you choose to be as all jobs are optional and you select which ones you want to do. But by signing up with a few you can dictate how busy you want to be.

    good luck!

Can anyone tell me on BARE I did a recording sample for the car company 2 weeks ago, it doesn't show as anything other than completed and I have tried to self assign the jobs but it is showing as pending.
Where should I look to find the authorasation to do the calls. Or should I drop them a email?

    TIA
