I just checked my Bare account, it says that they paid on the 26th of November - it usually takes three or four working days to reach my account - so it won't be until Monday or Tuesday - still the only positive thing about a weak pound is that Bare jobs are worth more...my bank converts to sterling at the euro conversion rate on the day it reaches the account0 -

and a whole 15euros for a burger pricing job, which on the face of it sounds reasonably good, but they want you to note the menu prices of 25 different items, and then do the same for two other different burger and chicken joints, so 75 prices, all without giving yourself away...
Don't think I'll be doing this one!Andy Corbett0 -

Most MS jobs get easier after you've done the first one but with this company you just don't go back for more:p0 -
Hi guys
I had my first MS job today and just submitted my results.
It was for a bank and one of the assessments was to pretend I wanted some info on current accounts, but the member of staff declined to give me any information and suggested for me to book an appointment, but when I said again I just really wanted some brief information now for the moment she was still unable to advise me and told me that it would be better if I just booked an appointment and it would all be discussed then, as there was nobody who could help me at the moment.
Then filling in my report I had to override a few questions because of the incomplete scenario which probably looks bad doesn't it.
Do you think I will still get paid ?0 -

Which MS company was it? I've done similar assignments and the notes did give info on what to do if they won't give you info there and then. On one of mine the notes said if they offer you an appointment you can make the appointment but then ring up to cancel it. Check your notes thoroughly to see if there were instructions like that.
As long as you have done what you were instructed to, and it's just the bank not following the correct procedure, then I don't see any reason they would withhold payment.0 -
It was Gfk and the notes do say if that if an appointment is offered decline and then state you just want some brief information today really which is what I did do but she still replied with the best thing I could do was to make an appointment and all would be discussed with me then and in the end I made an appointment so as not to blow my cover.0

I've done the same job for GfK. It sounds like you did everything you should have - except maybe you shouldn't have given in and agreed to the appointment, but I'm sure that won't invalidate your assignment. It sounds like the bank were in the wrong, not you. Just make sure you put all the info in the report - there is usually a comments section at the end. It should be ok, I've always found GfK very good over reports.0
