The Mystery Shopping thread - part 6

I had 2 assignments to do for BARE that I had scheduled for Friday there. I emailed them at mid-day on Friday, to see if I could reschedule them due to family issues, but I got an automated response saying that the office was closed as they were celebrating a busy period by letting their hair down.
I am not a 100% sure of their site / rescheduling and am not sure if I should do the assignments today (Sunday), as it's the latest day for the shop, when they haven't replied to my email to say I could reschedule it.
Can anyone on here tell me if I need their permission to change the date? Or when I've selected the date for the shop, is it a prelimery date, that can be changed after?
I was able to do them yesterday but didn't know what to do, so I thought I'd ask here and see if anyone here can help me figure this out quickly! As would need to them today A.S.A.P if it's ok to carry them out.

No you don't Tizzy, you can do the jobs on any day before the due date. I had scheduled some of mine for the 27th and did them on the 22nd instead and constantly change my planning anyway. If today is the last day and you are able to do it then it is best to do it now otherwise the job might get cancelled before you get a reply.0 -

On GAP, it says "You can not shop the same site twice in a row regardless of the shop month."
I shopped this place in my current home town last month. Does the above mean that I can't shop at the same location until I have done another job for GAP at a different type of shop, or that I have to shop at this type of shop in some other location first?
Sorry if this is vague!I means that no shopper can complete consecutive visits to a particular site.
So if ABC Grocers is shopped every month you couldn't do it October & November.
Or if Macs Greasy Burgers are shopped every week you couldn't do it this week & next week.
In other words, there must be a visit by another shopper between your visits.
Hope this helps.
I think what you're trying to ask is if you shop ABC Grocers at no. 10 the High Street can you shop ABC Grocers in the shopping centre the following month. Well, then the answer is yes. It's that you can't shop the same location twice in a row, you can shop the same brand, at a different location. If that makes it a bit clearer.
If in doubt tho, as someone else has just said, then it will just reject or cancel it anyway.0 -
Great, well I will head of soon and get them done.

I want to do an assignment on GAP but I'm being rejected no matter what date I put in
does anyone know why this might be? I was under the impression that if I wasn't in the required demographic, I wouldn't see the job. Never shopped this place before either.

I think this might be because one of the rules have been broken but out of your control - for example if the site can't be shopped twice in 7 days then someone else may already be booked in to do a shop within 7 days of the date you've chosen.
The system will contradict itself so offer a date one couldn't actually do (your example) so you'll need to get them to allocate it manually.

ThanksJust emailed them. The assignment will probably go by the time they get round to it, although it might be that no-one else has been able to select it (it's a nice pizza one)...!

Glad you took the email out - was going to point out that GAP would be able to identify you!0

Much as I love GfK their test questions baffle me. I am doing a visit tomorrow and there are only 3 test questions. I have answered them correctly but it still says 1 or more questions have been answered incorrectly.
Was going to go straight there from work tomorrow now I will have to come home and phone the hotline.Aaaarghh.Clique member no 1.:D0 -
