:rotfl:
So you think any head office will increase a staffing budget at the drop of a hat if someone who works there asks.
You really haven't got a clue!
For 13 years I was meeting 1000 people a day, you're right in the top 0.1% for ignorance.0 -

He can't seem to even understand simple business models. Supermarkets sell cheap by keeping overheads low. Now it doesn't take much brain to work out you're not going to get a personal shopper service and might have to queue.0 -

I, personally, go to the supermarket, launderette, bank and petrol station when I know it won't be busy! Usually a Friday or Saturday night (except bank, obviously, but I bank online so rarely go, thus avoiding the queues)
Also, shopping online can avoid queues but I can understand why some people don't like doing it (replacement items or items nearer sell by date than you would choose). I try to be quite laid back so I don't mind these things.
Even when I am in a queue or traffic, what is the point in getting frustrated? Just relax and be glad you can have a few quiet moments to yourself.Kavanne

Dammit this thread has made me angry that there are such cretins in this country.
EDIT: Having now read all of the b*llocks TLR has written in this thread, I've come to the conclusion that he's actually transcended his physical form and become a glowing, white hot ball of pure Daily Mail-readerishness.0 -

Marples Public School Slang 31 Oik, hoik: very widely used and of some age; at Cheltenham (1897) it meant simply a working man,
What offensive about that????
I don't think you'll find that is the common meaning. Again I have to help you because you haven't got a clue:

It's nothing to do with that. The fact is it's also not the person on the shop floors fault which you seem to think it is.0 -
