Broadband Speeds

As I understand it. MAX is the type of cable that runs to your house (Just a fancy name for it). If you dont have it, you wont be able to get them speeds.
Sorry but that is rubbish! ADSL max is a different technology that can achieve higher speeds in a similar way that ADSL2 and ADSL2+ can. These different standards all work on normal exchange lines. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
cool
Can you explain that a little more please D2? It sounds to me as for example id need an o2 contract? Whats the download limits etc?
ermi am on contract with them,, and for some reason they offered me o2 broadband package 8 MB for free, or 16MB for £2.50, so i thought i may aswell take the £2.50 one as i was currently paying £25 i believe.. and the internet has no download cap, and i have downloaded quite a bit, but i am yet to have my speeds slowed down.
i recieve a regular 8-12 MB download,, and a 1-1.8MB upload,, so its not that bad.
people love me hosting games on xbox live anyways so im happy
