I had three drumsticks left last week. Added a slice of ham, some frozen leeks and white sauce. Used pastry I had in the freezer, and make a pie with it. It was delicious!

I did a nice dish with them last week.

Cut potatoes into wedges, cut red onions into 8ths, slice some chorizo, bung in a few whole cloves of garlic, stick the chicken on top and stick in oven for 45 mins bastig with the chorizo juice half way through. Delicious.

We bought 40 chicken drumsticks last weekend as Li dl had them for just £1.32 for 10.
I'm using 8 today as chicken tikka and will use 8 at the weekend as sticky BBQ drumsticks but would love ideas of how to use up the rest :)

  • I like then marinated in yogurt and curry spices (or a jar of paste if you have it) in fridge for about 4 hrs then cooked under a very hot grill.
Not sure of that's what you meant? If so sorry that's repetitive lol
Basically a proper chicken tikka without the tandoor oven x

  • Haha! Casserole or cook, take meat off bone and use in various chicken recipes?

My favourite way is to roast with loads of vegetables including potatoes, onions, garlic, carrots & peppers. Sometimes do something like that for a Sunday dinner because it doesn't need much attention while it's in the oven!

  • I love sticky chicken drumsticks: honey, soy sauce, some ginger paste - marinade the drumsticks then bake.

Or peri-peri one; peri-peri sauce, honey, soy sauce again marinated and baked

    bet they'd make nice casseroles

coat in breadcrumbs and cook them off - used to love this done with a few herbs or spices so dip in egg then spiced/herbed flour, back in egg and then in bread crumbs before cooking

Home made 'KFC' (well,it's ds favourite not mine!)

Soak in milk (no need for eggs at all)

Toss/cover/shake around in plain flour seasoned with salt, pepper, cumin, paprika and various herbs.

Place in preheated frying pan (decent amount of oil) and heat for a few minutes both sides until the coating has puffed up a little.

Take out of frying pan and Chuck in the oven 200 degrees for 30ish minutes or less

Only egg once! (Also prevents so much goo!)

Flour first. Then dip in egg. Then breadcrumbs :) It's the eggy flour that makes the breadcrumbs stick
