i see you all have been busy busy :T

just back from picking dd up from nursery - ds stays on till 3 :j

on the way there i dropped a bag for the charity shop and got a new bulb for the LR

i hate those new kind of bulbs - all halogen and weird forms - and everything needs of course a different kind of bulb and then they do not last very long

in my next house we'll only have lights with 'normal' bulbs - the ones you screw in and they last forever!!

oh yes.. sorry forgot about that..

The teacher was absolutely horrified too (glad it wasn't just me being prudish lol) she said she will have a word with ALL the children and see if the one boy DD named comes forward and she will speak to DD3 and see what she comes up with.. she might spill the beans on who else was involved.

I didn't rate her much to start with but she actually seems to be making some steps forward with the children and she does deal with stuff that needs dealing with.

I am off to bake a cake.. and stuff my face..

I've just dusted all round the house, cleaned the bath and sinks, tidied up LO's bedroom, must go and iron the (very few) things I actually do iron! :rotfl:. LO is watching Over the Hedge.

Just been reading in the paper about a family in your town - neither work and they have 10 children and have an income most of us on here could only dream about - and they want more, even though she says they don't go without - if they want something they can just go out and buy it!!!!:mad: Makes you spit feathers doesn't it? I could feel the top of my head threatening to explode when I was reading it. She doesn't do housework either - maybe she could apply for extra benefit for a cleaner? They don't like it when people in their street call them scroungers  Why not? It's what they are!

Anyway, off to do my last bits before watching Doctors then going to Post Office, library, recycling and supermakardo (as Sarah Kennedy calls it)

2nd day of flying and its getting easier...hurrah! Popped a load into the WM and unloaded the DW as I made a very much needed morning coffee. So far...... Tuesday's level one is done..woohoo!!!! Having a cooking day today so have two batches of Pate sucree chilling in the fridge,a chicken cooking for chicken and leek pie for dinner, made a yummy pavlova, eaten a 3rd of the pavlova and am gearing myself up for making a quiche,a mince-meat tart and a batch of Twinks hobnobs. At which point I will collapse into a heap and fall asleep._pale_

Living room is pretty much done, just the dining table to be scrubbed, floors to be mopped and 1 shelf to be sorted, but will do that when kids in bed.

Little bro is on holiday (and if anyone remembers his travels last year, this will be no suprise) he has lost his wallet.... so I have to and somehow get money to him.

Kids complaining cos there is no biscuits left, they ate them all thats why!

Modem changed so I wan't gone for long.

Friend popped round very upset so tea and sympathy served.

Now need to pop round to another friend until school time so flying has failed again.
