Ok played tic tac toe on that site, with DS2 on my knee.... he had a wee bit of a pee! I dare you to find out why!!!!!

Sod the flamin dinner, this is too much fun!

Marble chocolate and orange cake

50g plain dark chocolate melted.. cooled but not set!
125g butter
125g caster sugar
zest of one orange
2 eggs beaten
125g SR flour
2tsp orange juice
1 tbsp cocoa powder

1. oven at 180'C/350'F/GM4
2. I use a 7 inch cake tin.. or a 1lb loaf tin.. lined with whatever you line your cake tins with.
3. Cream butter, zest and sugar until pale.
4. Gradually add beaten eggs
5. sift in the flour
6. add orange juice
7. divide mixture into 2 even halves
8. In one half mix in the cooled melted chocolate and cocoa powder (and ahandful of choc chips if you feel the need!)
9. Blob tablespoons of the mixture into the prepared tin alternate the blobs and swirl a knife over to fill in any gaps and marbles it a bit.. don't go too mad though.
10. Bake until cooked.. usually about 40 minutes
11. Dust with icing sugar then cocoa powder.. EAT!
12. If you aren't greedy enough to eat it all, it will serve 6..

Sorry this is a late post but have been REALLY busy today. Had visitors this morning, went grocery shopping in the afternoon and then had to set up new telly with hubby. It looks great :j . The other good news is that hubby is being admitted to hospital tomorrow to start dialysis :j:j:j:dance::dance::dance:

My aims for today are to finish setting up the telly and carry on cleaning the bathroom.

Right, well not much more done apart from other shopping (stuff that is cheaper/can only get elsewhere) filled DPs car and put some more laundry away. Tipping it down with rain so got wet collecting DS2 from school, going to make his tea then take him to Beavers.

Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
Empty all the drawers.. shake out the crumbs and put back only the nice things
Extra Mission : help yourself

1. Take one small electrical appliance and give it a thorough cleaning.. the toaster or the kettle or the microwave.. or whatever you like..

Tuesday Terrors- Living Room, Hall and Stairs
Level 3
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
Extra Mission: Pick one or more of the following tasks –

1. Clean windows & any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc
2. Wipe down any paintwork that needs it.
   
3. Wash any cushions, throws or curtains that need it

Personal list : Statisics tutorial, calculus tutorial 3 both need finished!
