Tooti - she's home and having a cuddle as I type. She's snoring badly too! There is a flying theme to this post because I took her to the park when she got home and she as so muddy she needed bath after which i cleaned the bathroom!!:D
Did you get a big welcome when she came home ? did she behave on her hols? silly question of course she did!! have you decided what to do about next week - are you taking her with you to Stirling?

She was a perfect pooch. It's been decided that dh is taking the children and i'm staying at home with pup. I've got 6 assignments to write up so i'll do that between walking dogs and cuddling them:rotfl: xx

    Evening everyone.

Very busy day at work as we had to do a 999 for one of the clients. Colleague went with him so worked most of the day on my own. He is back home though and fine. Lots of flying as all his bedding etc had to be washed.

So havent caught up with the thread as my eyes are closing so Im off to bed

Off tomorrow so will be flying before I go to see mum.

    Goodnight everyone.

    mon:
    • AnW's mum is coming round - i have a very nice fruit cake to go with our cuppa :D (The irony of a flylady coming round and my house not being perfect. I'm sure she'll let me off - not like it is pigpen coming to do a white glove test. )

lol the real irony is me calling myself a flylady! Think I am the imposter on this thread, a hanger on, one who cannot be shaken off :rotfl::rotfl: I am sure you will put me to shame, our house is still a pit.

Car is packed ready, hope you have your slide building head on!

  • Welcome newbies :hello:

Also, does anyone know a good way of cleaning indoor pipes. There's loads of them in the bathroom and I've scrubbed them but some of the dirt is being stubborn

me taking the full force of cold water at full pressure from the inlet pipe, couldn’t get pipe back on because of the force of the water, couldn’t catch the water in the bucket because it was horizontal and couldn’t try to phone and stop water at the same time
so now we know who's bum was wet today!

Michelle - it's not a tick is it?
    yes...
    Greenbee's advice is sound...
    Check for more though...

I've had an idea for a new avatar...if I find it Tag'll like it!

Just spent 10 minutes trying to set the video up because the signal at the mo is analogue and the sat. has 'gone down' and I tape so rarely...DD wants to see who 'wins' Soapstarsuperstarpopfactor or whatever it's called.
She 'thought it was funny' that she hadn't seen the heats...but up at DS's GF's they were looking for the purple button...mind you it looks so slick no wonder folk are taking it seriously...
    I'm voting for Geraldine:rotfl: :rotfl:

  • Michelle - yes as greenbee says its a tick - be warned when you put the alcohol on the tick the cat wont like it - it will sting!!! but it makes the tick draw back its pincers out of the skin and it drops off. very nasty things!!!
Your list is exhausting - again!!!!!!!
Enjoy the time with AnW's Mum and the cake!!!

AnW's Mum - no you are not an imposter - you are just the same as the rest of us -well maybe with the exception of our leader! - we cant fly to save our selves LOL - but we keep trying!!!!

I don't think so, but no idea. He let me touch it, but when i tried to gently pull it off he flinched.

it's smooth, oval in shape, grey/green, i thought it was an abscess till i looked closely. It is attached by one end only,

might have to google now and see if i can work out what it is.

soappie well done to your DS, does he fancy trying a sideboard next? because yes, it's still there!
Davgirl1 hope everything goes ok, I can understand why it must be upsetting for you.
Hippy wow, saga is one thing to call it! ((hugs))
AnW'sMum we're all here for a reason, flying doesn't come naturally to us!
    poffigirl and skintmummy welcome
pigpen, you forgot michelle, she's been golden mules lady aswell! Pigpen took over and does a better job than me at !!! kicking, I'm still here if and when required, especially now studyings not a problem until January at least, wahooooo!

ZOFLORA - as a rule anything that goes white when it hits the water shouldn't be used in pet cages etc as it's poisonous (found out in my time at a rescue) especially to rabbits. Most manage to use things like zoflora and just wait until it dries before letting the pets on it. I remember my dog vomitting badly and I'd used zoflora and let him walk on it, can only pressume he'd liked it off his paws.

Well I got the caravan done, vacuumed and washed the floor (washed by hand as no mop, plus don't want to get it too wet) took the boys swimmming again then came home. Need to sort the rest of uniforms and packed lunches, after watching film, what happens in vegas I think it's called.

Oh yes, I am in by the way, but out most of the week at meetings and school stuff so flup knows when I will fit it all in...............

michelle, sorry does sound like a tick http://builder.evetsite.com/matrix/servlet/com.rocktide.servlet.ShowAsset?id=12072604 don't click if scared of creepy crawlies, removal here http://www.westhillsanimalhospital.net/site/view/101272_Removeatick.pml;jsessionid=pe83cd3jj5a
One day I might be more organised...........
