he does indeed denise! Thank you for your suggestions, my problem isn't so much furniture and so on, more re-wire, new boiler, central heating that works, new bathroom, kitchen units, carpets and so on. It doesn't help that we need to use lime based products rather than any old tin of paint etc. I regret nothing but sometimes it would be lovely to have £10k to throw at the problems.
I managed to clean the downstairs loo, and clear the DR table hotspot, fold the stuff hot from the TD, and put another load in the WM.
Dustykitten - fingers crossed for you that the yougov thing is genuine. My mum has had quite a lot of cash out of them for surveys etc.
Off to get the boys now, but will do another HHC 4-4.30pm.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
I am doing an interior design course (because it was free!) and I sit and admire pretty pictures of lovely houses and get very depressed some times. Ours is lovely from the outside, but is mostly a wreck on the inside even when it is tidy.
Peg Posse - My new avatar is just for you!

natty come on hun - join us for a quick mad dash about - you will feel better afterwards - make your cross stitch a reward - once you have done a level one then you can have 15 mins cross stitch - and so on - see if that helps get you going - and even if the kitchen is being changed you want to have good habits for when your new kitchen gets put in dont you??
