Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!! I'm dreading it this year. I have no money and can't see any way in the next few weeks of being able to afford Christmas this year :(

I haven't posted on this thread since before the summer hols!!! Not that I've let the house go to rack and ruin. So I'm in this week Don't know about the change one thing a week thingy though. Mind you I did start yoga a couple of weeks ago, and on Saturday I started a patchwork course (which I think I could get addicted to - I can envisage everything in the house being patchwork. Oh the possibilities :rotfl:)

    Nobody missed me then? No, didn't think so . . . . .

you certainly keep yourself busy - and i think that's far more important than cleaning

re xmas: it doesn't have to be expensive!! it's the thoughts that count!
no presents for grown-ups! (they can buy themselves if they need/want something) - and rather have a nice meet up somewhere and a good time with each other!
or make a party at your house and tell everyone to bring some food - so the cost will be spread!
    you can do it!!! :j

Talking of which, Pigpen - I assume your cleaning products spreadsheet is going to have something on it about costs as well as effeciency/effectiveness? And are you doing a greenness rating too?!

Arrrrrrrrgh! I thought I'd join in as my kitchen is looking better than it has in months! However my 17mth old has decided that this morning she just wants hugs and to scream at me!

Anyway morning all :) Going to get on in a sec and reduce some fish stock for freezing.
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

    You reminded me of something:
Years ago one of my colleagues told my that my boss's wife was called Peg. For years I sent Christmas cards to Fred and Peg and always chatted to Peg at staff parties. Then I found out that her name was Vera and my colleage called her Peg (short for Peg-leg) because she walked with a limp. :o
    :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks for that it made me roar.

I'm in again, have done the pots and done S&S around the other rooms.
Have got to pop to the shops to get a few cleaning bits and then I will get on with the kitchen.

Did more to my bathroom yesterday, its so close to being done but I keep finding little bits to do...argh.....going to go and get the flooring later.

Have a good day all XXX
