My Regaining the Focus and Getting Back on Track Diary

Wow, that sounds fantastic. I don't know anything at all about Florida Disney, but you'll have to post all your best tips when you come back so I can save them for whenever we go! We paid our hol balance yesterday - £300-and-odd quid, so that's all that done now, 10 weeks to go, and we really, really need the break!
I might have been responsible for the late crowningI remember reading a load of yours and Hypnos reviews a couple of weeks ago at work and nominiating several, perhaps that's something to do with it. Well done anyway!

:hello: Hi Panda and thanks for your contribution to the crown!
Know what you mean about needing a holiday. We didn't have one at all last year (other than a weekend in Blackpool) and the year beforeir was just a few days in Disneyland Paris so I am about desperate for some sunshine. I think OH may leave me before we go away though as I think he is sick of hearing about it and the various plans and bookings. Left up to him we wouldn't get very far though! He did perk up when I bought an Orlando map though and he started working out routes to places. I had a go at imagining which routes we would use driving on the opposite side of the raod and I couldn't do it, though as I am rubbish at remembering left from right anyway and I can't judge speed, distance and time very well then I think maybe I shouldn't drive anyway!
Got 25p and 50p on scratchcards today which took me over the £10 withdrawal limit on one of them.
Back to work tomorrow. Have been off two weeks and it seems to have been ages yet still I haven't got everythng ready to go back - how can that be? I think I only have to work two days this week as I did a first aid course for work yesterday - on a SATURDAY! - so I think I get Wednesday off in lieu and the same goes for next week as I'm there next Saturday too.0 -
Hi Choca, hope all's ok. Are your clothing spend totals still accurate? If so, you're doing absolutely brilliant! I lost track of mine completely although I'm making a concerted effort not to buy anything unless it's absolutely essential or a silly-price bargain.
My DH is the same as yours - sick of hearing all about things to do in northern France, and what we can spend Clubcard vouchers on! When do you go to Florida? We're just 5 weeks away now, not that I'm counting.0 -

Not quite accurate as I got a couple of things on Thursday to go away with this weekend - not exactly huge spending though as I got a top, jeans and work trousers all for £29 - need to update my signature.
Just got back from London to see Mamma Mia; it was good but nice to be home. London's not exactly my type of place.
Ten weeks today until our hols - not that I'm counting either...much! Work is hectic at the moment so nice to have something to look forward to. How long are you away for?0 -
We're away for 11 nights in the Brittany caravan and then just 2 nights/3days at Disney which I think will be enough given the ages of the kids and the price of stuff there! Finally sent the passport forms off on Saturday so hopefully we'll get them back in time. 5 wks to go!
Glad you enjoyed the weekend away, but I know what you mean about being good to be home.0 -

No new diary, though I really should come back here more as it keeps my spending focussed.
Holiday was fab, utterly fab, didn't get back until the 20th August so just about back on UK time now, planning to write a trip report on another site once I get motivated so that I don't forget it all too quickly. How was your trip, panda?
Lunar, I can't believe your little one is nearly one already. Where has that time gone? I'd be happy to see the latest photos if you still have my e-mail address?0
