Thank you both. Yesterday wasn't too bad, although frantic! Still have another inspection in a fortnight (first one was Early Years, next one is whole class and will be observing teaching and it's really bad luck they've both coincided this term).
Was looking forward to OH being off work with me today and tomorrow but got home last night to find out he's been asked to work. The extra money will be nice but I'm a bit disappointed.
Got the £10 Consumer pulse voucher yesterday - means I've now got £80 cash, £60 Argos vouchers, £10 HMV and £10 Amazon vouchers ready for Christmas - not a bad start.0 -
Only just past eight o'clock and I'm shattered already today! OH is at work for the sixth day running - not bad for a man without a proper job!Though if he dares come home today and says he's working tomorrow I'll kill him!
Need to go shopping today. Hoping for some bonus tesco clubcard points with their new promotion. Started with this last week but apparently you don't know if the points are on your account until May. Still, I'm only buying what we use anyway so won't have lost anything if it doesn't work. Also need a Mothers' Day card and present and something for OH's dad as it's his birthday tomorrow. Plus, as ever, the house needs a good clean and tidy! My life is so dull!0 -

Well, OH said I could have a lie in for Mothers' Day today but the constant whinging of Tom downstairs had me up at 7.30! He's absolutely full of cold and has been miserable and clingy for the last 24 hours or so. DD gave me a homemade card with a poem she's written. One of the phrases called me a "Hellish Mam" which I'm hoping she's using our local slang which means really brilliant, and not the more literal alternative! She's now gone off to Stagecoach and I suspect OH will be getting me some chocolate or flowers from the Asda opposite where she goes - never been one for planning ahead or big gestures has my OH. Not that I really mind as I would only tell him off for spending too much if he did that.
Must get back to Dooyoo - I only did the one review after hypno's challenge. I also posted about six reviews to Ciao (the same ones as on Dooyoo) and gave up as they only earned about 20p each. Logged on this morning and I have earned £12 from the February Premium Fund. Might be worth posting a few more!
Didn't do any cleaning, or anything much yesterday so it's all still to do. Hmm...might have another cup of tea first.0 -
I hope tom is feeling better soon, i hope you got some nice choccies and flowers yesterday. OH got me a card, mug and flowers from DS. I think he was prompted to do it by someone at his work!

Mmm, yeah I did pretty much! I got a plant (don't get me started on that one!! I hate plants, but I didn't say that to the kids) and some chocolates which are very nice! We also inherited a fish, which I'm not overly impressed by as we only have it as BIL and girlfriend don't want to look after it any more - as if I do!0 -
Tom still not very well and hasn't really slept for last three nights (though has been napping a lot with my mam during the day.) He also won't eat - not like him at all - though is happy to breastfeed and drink juice. OH and I are now playing "I'm more tired than you are!" with each other. Should have an early night tonight but looking forward to watch the new Apprentice series. OH is at work every day this week again and I think I will have to go in to work on Sunday to make sure everything is ship-shape for our LEA inspector next week.0
