Had the same thing when I was having DD too... Think most women go through the same thing...
I couldn't wait for my scan - I found out I was pregnant at 6pm Friday, and had a scan done 12pm Saturday. I didn't believe it till I saw it.
Got my third scan tomorrow, and I'm terrified.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

Oh help me someone... I threw up last night, thought it was MS... Then woke in the night to throw up again... half an hour later DD threw up... Smell of that set me off again.... She woke up this morning full of the joys and telling me she was glad she didn't need the potty in the night (to be sick again) 5 mins later she's thrown up all over my landing carpet... I don't know what to do with myself now... Not normally tickled stomached and never had a problem cleaning up after her... But I just can't face going upstairs now... Someone help me :-(A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Gosh - i don't log in for a bit and we are on to a new thread!
Thought I would just share with you my good mood. Though I am over morning sickness, post nasal drip is making me throw up fairly regularly first thing in the mornings and yesterday was no exception with the scary proviso that I also threw up about an egg cup full of fresh blood. After a little panic I rang NHS direct to see if I actually should be worried and they sent me to A&E to get checked out.
After seeing a very dishy doctor, with large warm hands (and being glared at by my hubby throughout the whole consultation) and being told I was fine, the midwife popped down just to do a quick check on baby and so the other half got to hear the baby's heart beat for the first time - teary eyes all round! I was mock complaining to her that I could feel the baby fluttering about but still wasn't able to feel it on the surface so wasn't sure if I was cracking up. She laughed and said it wouldn't be too long before it could be felt and sure enough, that evening, baby decided to hold a quick work out session in my tum and JJ managed to get his hand in place as it started so he felt his baby for the first time too. So all in all, a positive end to the a day that started rather panicy!
To add to my good mood, this morning I was sick again but no blood and I now feel, for the first time in AGES, fairly human and full of energy. What is more, now someone else has felt the baby move it really feels like I am actually going to have the baby - before I knew I was pregnant and had all those symptoms but I couldn't quite get my head around there actually being a baby at the end of it. I'm so excited!0 -
Hi canadabound!
It's not often you hear a 'I was rushed to hospital' story in such a cheery tone!

Nothing constructive to say except you poor poor thing! Lots of fluids and possibly clean up sooner rather than later - horrible job but get it out of the way before it becomes even more rancid and then collapse on the sofa and look after yourself?0 -
It's done... I took a deep breath... and sacrificed 2 towels and half a bottle of cif multi-purpose to over power the smell...
Now I don't really know what to do... Am fasting DD until she asks for something then she can have some toast or something... But I've just spent a month eating to ease sickness... Don't know whether to try that or fast too like I would if I just had a tummy bug... Have absolutely no desire to eat anything... Have sipped some water... Feeling very sick...
Glad everything is ok with you though CanadaBound, and glad your OH got to feel the baby... I can't wait till DH can feel ours... Never had that kind of thing with DD as the moron that knocked me up had legged it by 10 weeks...
