Hi FG - glad things are looking better for you today. As your boyfriend, all i can say are men are mysterious creatures (as are well i suppose) and i can't fathem them out, even my hubby who next year (i can't believe it) i have known for 10 years.
It is all starting to feel very really for me i must say. Feel a lot 'safer' with the pregnancy now so want to start looking at buying things even though i am only half way there. Also bub's is fairly active at times now so that make you remember you have something growing inside you because believe me, i do forget i am pregnant sometimes.0 -
I don't forget I'm pregnant any more, she won't let me. Awake quite a bit of the night with her jiggling away. I can't figure out if it's her or Braxton Hicks or labour starting etc.
How do you know if you have a Braxton Hick or if it's the baby? I don't think I've had a Braxton Hick, but am not sure.
2 days overdue and well and truly bored of being pregnant. Got a mw appointment in an hour and reckon she'll just do what she normally does (if I get to see her that is, she's usually too busy so I get a doctor to check my wee and bp). I kinda wana ask her to do a sweep or check if I'm dilated, but at the same time, feel a bit freaked asking her as surely if it's something she needs to do, she'll tell me. I feel a bit strange asking someone to "poke" me up there if you see what I mean.
Plus it's supposed to be uncomfortable, isn't it? TMI alert!!! Bf can't feel nothing up there when we are getting jiggy (either with his thing or what the mw is going to use), so how far up does the mw have to go?!!!!!Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

Polly, for me braxton hicks felt like the whole bump tightening then relaxing... They came regularly, say every 5 mins for an hour then would stop... They didn't hurt me but they do hurt some people. Labour was completely different to my braxton hicks, for me started low down in my bump and felt more like period cramps to start with but again, everyone is different!
Can't help on the sweep front, never had one but I imagine if you're 2 days past due they will probably do one as routine at your midwife appointment... Otherwise I would ask, that's what she's there for!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Did you find a coat?
i was pregnant through summer last time so I didn't have this problem but this time I can't go without a coat,
I was thinking a about just getting a bigger size in a normal coat but I don't really think that will work (on the room to grow front) or just trying to cope with my last years coat not quite done up in the middle

I'm hoping my coat will fit. I spent £100 on a really nice coat earlier in the year, in the sales. Its lovely, and I'd be gutted if I can't wear it! Its a swing style one, so should fit for a while yet.
I'm running out of clothes though. Most of my tops don't fit, and my trousers are really uncomfortable. I've not gained any weight though, so where is this extra mass is coming from, I don't know!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

MillesMum & FG - Haven't found a coat yet. I thought of getting a bigger size to, but am worried about the growth at the front meaning boobs and bump. Might have to try some on in the shops and see how i go.
xredwebx - will look back for the lastest list...one sec0 -
