    September & Sami

Thats raised a point, if you have an avent steriliser (about the only bit of baby equipment we kept for some reason) are you stuck with avent bottles? or will other brands of bottles fit in it?

Same question with teats as well if anyone knows, last time mil had TT Nuby teats on avent bottles and they worked fine but I notice that nuby teats don't seem to be around anymore
I had an avent steriliser and tomme tippee bottles last time, I think most sterilisers are pretty universal when it comes to bottles these days.

I can't afford to gain much weight during this pregnancy either as I am overweight. I gained under 20 pounds with DS, and lost it right away again after birth. I'm hoping I can stick to around 10-15 pounds absolutely tops this time around. But then, the last 3 months of pregnancy with DS, all I wanted to eat was steamed vegetables - I ate a huge plate of them for lunch and for tea. So that certainly helped the weight issue. Right now I'm just thirsty and nauseated. So at least I won't be gaining much in the next few weeks.:rotfl:

I just get frustrated with all the doom and gloom they keep bringing up - when DS was an infant, it was that whole thing about the bottles being unsafe because of PVC or some such thing. Makes you paranoid, it really does!

    I really want a kebab!
I had to settle for chips, chilli sauce and onions earlier, I might have to sneak out and get one later!

I had exactly the same thought earlier triggles! I am a bit off meat now I think... Which is funny because a few weeks ago I couldn't get enough!

Has anyone else here had their bump shrink? Not by much... But I have these trousers that are too big and a couple of days ago they stayed up fine... Today they are in danger of falling down again... I don't know if my bump has moved or shrunk a bit... Or maybe my belly has a bit after spending all Monday night throwing up and only eating 1 slice of toast all day Tuesday...

Don't worry Krystal we won't oust you ;)
I usually remember to say something about it just being the way I did it n not necessarily the right way, but I didn't that time *slaps wrist* do you forgive me?:o

AF: as I said don't worry about something you can't undo, I'm sure its fine I had 6 or 7 "sweets" over 4 days and I won't worry :D

AM: on the subject of your lil spud, how on earth did you manage to have a son with blond hair and blue eyes! the chances must have been so slim of that happening, he's a miracle :D

Its not up to me to forgive people :p

Because of the training I've had and the jobs that I do (both paid and voluntary) it is really important that I give people the information to make a choice but not influence the choices they make (if that makes sense) and then support them in the choices they make.... I'm not allowed to give advice just support... And I know the people on this board don't have my training etc but it's just some of the things I know and have heard are scary and I would hate for someone to read what someone else did, not do any further research and then for something bad to happen... I feel it's my duty to give information...
