I meant to say - when I went to the antenatal clinic to see the consultant on monday the MW who checked my wee gave my sample back to me Why on earth would I want my wee back??

I hope you cold doesn't turn out as bad as mine!
They always give you your wee back here, you're expected to re-use the pot which i do - saving the NHS anout 2p no doubt :rotfl:

:eek: My MW told me reusing pots can cause a + protein result! I always have at least 3 in waiting .

For me its the shock more than anything and I wish people would try and pretend they didn't see instead of trying to help me up! .

need to phone MW tom and see why she phoned could be iron or something or even to discuss the HB again???? 10 weeks to go its coming around too soon this time? think it may be as we never told anyone until 20 weeks so havent had the how long question thing lol!!!

will need to get another pot too as mine went in the bin:D
think im gonna head to bed busy day tom and i could really do with a good nights sleep??

ooh while were talking about wee at my booking in app with 1st preg the MW sniffed my wee, she obviously noticed I was a bit miffed by it and she said, thats nothing in the old days they would have tasted it :eek:

When I had DD they always gave me my wee back to re-use the pot until I had an antenatal at the hospital, then you leave it on a shelf with your name on and help youself to a new pot... This time though they throw the whole thing in the bin... Midwife forgot to give me another sample pot though so will have to wee on demand next time... At the hospital though so might help myself to a couple of pots just in case lol...

Anyone watch the growing babies thing on BBC4 just? Was quite interesting... Until the point it showed a naked lady and OH shouted out 'you can see her lady beard' it was hard to be sensible after that...

Feel only slightly better after six slices of dry toast! Going for a bath and bed now that I dare get up.. urgh!
