It probably is, but I think I had to ask the midwife for it last time... I won't be seeing anyone now until my 20wk scan which I'm not actually having until 22 weeks... And not seeing the midwife until 3 weeks after that

I've just discovered Asda's orange, peach and passionfruit juice... Drank 1 ltr so far today, it hits the spot better than plain orange juice!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Now ladies, if/when you have had your 25 week check with the midwife was it here you received the certificate confirming your pregnancy? I need to let work know by the end of the month when i am going off to start maternity leave and provide them with this certificate also.

    xx

Yep - but I too had to ask for it. And I never received the cert for free prescriptions lat time (haven't got one this time either!)

    Thanks Krystaltips and greent.

I will make sure I ask tomorrow for the certificate then.

As for the free prescription card, I was given a form to fill out at my booking in appointment.

I had the cord around my neck too, but was a completely uncomplicated birth (Mum was in the delivery suite for all of 4 hours, and got to go straight home!).

Pickle - when I had some spotting, I stopped feeling sick. I'd had awful morning sickness up till then, and I panicked terribly when it went. The symptoms came back after a day or two I seem to remember. That was at 12 weeks, and I'm 19+2 now and still having some MS.

    Well done Skinty ((Hugs))

I'm making the most of a lazy week, the next two weeks are mad. I'm back and forth to various different hospitals. I have no appointments for ages, then in the space of 10 days I've got: Consultant at hospital 1, Pyschiatrist at hospital 2, Pyscotherapist at hosiptal 3, scan at hospital 1, nurse at home, and something else I'm sure I've forgotten. I'm sure I'll end up at the wrong hospital at least once!

I didn't realise there was so much paperwork involved in having a baby, I might not have got pregnant had I known!

I'm not looking forward to how much it is going to cost - return taxi to each hospital, including one that is 15 miles away

Annoyingly, cannot manage walking, bus or train because of the pain :(

  • For those of you who haven't signed up to the Bounty emails - please check on a freebie via the link below. I went and did this and it ain't bad for a freebie for the price of some nappies which you will use anyway though wouldn't have paid a tenner for it!

I forgot to ask for it, then had to call to get her to post it to me. If you have a reasonable reason for not having it in time, your work have to accept it anyway though - and they should class "my midwife hasn't given it to me yet" as a reasonable reason!.... It's probably worth informing work in writing even if you don't have the MATB1 by 26 weeks, as you can always hand that over when you DO have it.

I've had my 34 week appointment today - baby is far nearer the right way round - what I had thought was a bum over by my right side is actually knees, so the bum is far higher up than I thought it was!

Blood test yesterday, MW today, Anti-D tomorrow. I will be all medical appointmented out by the end of the week!
