I seem to have a sleep 'window of opportuntity' ie... If I go to bed when I'm tired I have no problems dropping off... If OH starts farting around more than just feeding the cats or decides to have a shower before coming to bed then it's too late and I'm past sleepy so then get to lie there for an hour listening to him snoring... I am really tired about 4pm but can't sleep then because I wake up feeling far more sick than if I didn't sleep...

Angela, all the best for tomorrow, I've had to have 2 epau scans so far and the waiting is so worrying, will be keeping my fingers crossed for you!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I have difficulty getting to sleep too. I tend to stay in bed from about 11pm till lunchtime, and have a nap at about 4-6pm. I need my sleep!

My nightmares have also increased - I tended to have one or two nightmares a week, but now its every single night. OH won't let me watch horror movies as he things it makes things worse!

I've got a physio appointment for 1st Decemeber. Its a pain management in pregnancy class, and then I should get to have a one-on-one because of how early in pregnancy I am.
If you are sleeping that much no wonder you are having trouble sleeping

I'm finding it hard to stay awake past 10pm, which I dont mind coz I used to find it really hard to fall asleep without the use of narcotics :o
So was freaking out when I found out I was preg as obviously i had to give it up, but luckily I am fine, it was probably all in the mind anyway
Good luck with physio, my pain is getting pretty bad now :(

  • Hi guys
Back from the EPAU. AT first she started scanning my belly and then turned the screen away and looked serious and said she would tell me what she could see after. Then they made me pee and did an internal scan and they both jump at the screen with smiles and turned on my monitor and showed me the heart beat. WHich was lovely!

The only thing waS that they made me 1 week less which is odd as I am very regular and from what she is saying the sperm would have had to hang about for 9 days!!! and I would have got a positive HPT 4 DPO which is not right!!!

But thaTS not important, as long as ,bubs has a beating heart. She printed me off a lil pic also!! They also gave me open access so if I get another bleed I can just call and book in for a scan that day or the next am. which sounds very good compared to what some you are describing

I got a question about cycle days, If I always come on on a weds does that mean I have a 28 day cycle or 27? Is the 28th day also day 1 of your cycle? confused!!

Good luck angela tomorrow hope your bubs will be seen heart flickering.. hope they dont 'rob' you off a week! Has anyone had this on an early scan then put you back later on?

28 days - Weds being day 1, following Weds day 8, following one day 15, following 1 day 22 and then the Tues = day 28, with the Weds being back to day 1.

dates are always a bit of an estimate anyway - we have a tendancy in my family to have late babies (I was due feb 14th and arrived March 6th!!!) - and my friend had all 4 of hers 2 weeks early - some people just need to cook them for longer than others ;) Its just a guide timeframe, really - a few days (or even a week) either way makes very little difference in the end.

Thanks, It was ok, bit like a skinny vibrator :rotfl: she lubed it up and was a bit too worried about hurting me, she did it very slow and i felt like saying "just shove it in I've taken bigger than that before!!!" :rotfl: :rotfl: (TMI)

they put me as 5+6 but i am 6+6 or 7 as i work it out. and they are only measuring on the screen mine was 3.6mm!!! tiny tiny even if they were a tenth out it would make a big diff to dates.

the only thing that worries me is what if its not growing as it should but mother nature has a plan im sure and im ok with that :o

good luck honey. im still spotting but they have said not to worry. At least its not the E word xxx

Thanks, since you understand it a bit better that I ;) so working from the weds as day 1, what day do i turn in to my new week of PG? I always thought on the weds my period was due i would have been 4+1? then turning every tue to my new week, or should it be weds?#

I know it irrelevant but me and mum were disagreeing about it :o and we could not decide which was which!

nicole - that's great news - I'm really pleased for you.

Don't worry about being put back a week. My mum needed to cook all of us (three girls) for between 42-43 weeks each and so I reckon that I'll go past my due date as well. When I was put back a few days at the dating scan at first I was disapointed - afterall it means waiting those few extra days, but in actual fact its not a bad thing from my point of view as I want to avoid induction at all costs, and so am happy to have a few extra days on my side from that point of view..... :D

we all get so fixated on a due date don't we? I keep saying end of Jan to people when they ask, then they insist on wanting an ACTUAL day - as if it's going to happen on time!
